The hotel is of such a high quality. The rooms, the bar area etc all excellent. The restaurant was very nice, quite expensive but very nice as a treat....I wouldn't take the family there as it would be far too expensive with children, but then again it's not that type of restaurant as it's fine dining. The parking and the electric car charging points make life mich easier for an EV driver. The position is excellent and I'd definitely like to stay again.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and given a 'tour' of our room in itself has every modern convenience including coffee machine , extra large tv and separate shower in the very well designed bathroom. the only difficulty we experienced was a very low bath with no grab handles which made it difficult for guests in their 70's We enjoyed the very varied menu of cordon bleu cuisine served by very attentive and knowledgeable staff. The standard of the food was first class We would heartily recommend this extraordinary 'Art Hotel' which combined a warm Welsh welcome with a sophistication of a well deserved 4 star hotel .

We had a great room and the hotel is immaculately presented; it’s obvious that a great deal of care is expended in maintaining it to a high standard. The reason for four rather than five stars is the food. The breakfasts were okay but the portions felt mean; for example, half a mushroom! It was a case of style over substance. We dined in the restaurant for both nights of our stay and were disappointed. There was a very limited selection of sides (only one type of potato) and the desserts were small and very expensive. The food was borderline not warm enough when served. Not good value for money (the second night, we had only a main course and one drink each, and the bill was just short of £100). We would return but perhaps try to find an alternative for dinner.

A great overnight stay with dinner as an anniversary treat. Hotel is refined in a " Grand Designs" barn conversion kind of way. Quite a lot of narrow corridoors link the public rooms. The lift is unique and certainly not in a hurry. Mimimalist and monochome decor accentuates the hundreds of original pieces of contemporary art. The staff were professional and courteous and the bedroom upgrade was spacious and well appointed. Food was superb.

We experienced a wonderful stay at the hotel and were impressed by the hospitality and professionalism afforded us by the staff. Our room was spacious, luxurious, clean and peaceful with outstanding sea views. We ate at the restaurant and found the food and drinks to be the best we’ve ever had, superb quality and taste. Would absolutely recommend this location.

Absolutely outstanding experience in every sense. We booked a room on the basis of recent reviews during a road trip around Wales. On arrival we were so impressed that we immediately booked a second night. The hotel is top quality in every regard, with friendly, attentive and professional staff. We also ate in the restaurant and I can honestly say that it was right up there with the very best dining experiences I’ve had. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Lovely peaceful and contemporary hotel and we have had many a stay here. Cannot find a fault otherwise we would not have returned as many times as we have. Always a warm welcome by the staff and nothing is too much trouble. One small suggestion would be an option of a selection of sandwiches on the bar menu. We will look forward to our next stay here!

Good setting just out of town with only a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral. The Rooms were spacious though a bit dark. Good bed & shower. Nice little enclosed, and private grassed area. The food was nouvelle cuisine with a limited menu offering very limited choice. Whilst one expects very small portions with this type of cooking, having, for example, a floret of cauliflower and calling it a main course is having a joke. The chef is unable or unwilling to provide any alternatives if one is allergic to any dish or if one would want for anything different. This is not 4 star service. The lounge is dark and lacks any cosiness or ambience. The decor is modern art - one either loves or hates it. Personally, having a meal with a painting of a girl having blood running out of her eye is not what I would have in mind for a conducive evening! Drinks from the bar were really expensive. The staff were very pleasant and efficient - special shout out to Clare. For some reason, the poor waiters had to don bizarre leatherwear. There was an issue with the bill which was thankfully sorted out, but the fact that it occurred at all, left a bit of a bad feeling. For the price and the food issues, I would not recommend a stay, which is a shame as it does have several good points

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel which is ideally located within walking distance to the centre of St. Davids. On arrival we were greeted warmly and professionally by the reception staff who escorted us to our room which was exceptionally clean with a beautiful sea view. The tea and coffee making facilities were excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and the food was outstanding along with the service. Claire the assistant manager was very professional and friendly and certainly contributed to the overall dining experience. During our stay we had the pleasure of meeting two delightful young trainees on reception who kindly gave us guidance on the local area and places to visit. They are a credit to the hotel. There is no doubt that we will return to this hotel in the future.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Twr y Felin. We were greeted warmly and efficiently escorted to our room where all was explained. Superb room, sumptuously comfortable bed. A number of small but much appreciated extras gave that 'we are being spoilt' feeling. e.g FRESH milk in the fridge, and a properly good coffee machine. One of the best breakfasts we've eaten in a long time -,well prepared and presented with fresh hopefully local ingredients. The decor with specially commissioned art works made an interesting talking point.

Really loved our stay. The staff made us feel really welcome and at ease and couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely and quiet, even with a storm outside and we slept like a log. Loved the little touches like umbrellas for use by the door and fresh milk in the fridge etc.

Had an Easter stay at this hotel. From start to finish the experience was fantastic. We had a lovely room upgrade from a wonderful lady call meg, who took the greats of care of our whole guest experience. We could not have been in better hands. Our room was sea facing with the most magnificent bath. Would definitely stay here again. All the staff make this hotel the success it is. A certain 5 star hotel in our Welsh capital city could learn alot from the guest experience we had here. We will definitely be back!
