The Fifi Moulin hotel has a modern feel for a historic hotel built in 1840. It is a five minute walk to the centre of the historic town of Serres in France and similarly five minutes to the commercial centre. We booked a room with a terrific view out over the new town to the hills of northern Provence. Our room was pleasant and functional and did not have old furniture but comfortable and user-friendly up to date facilities. Breakfast was a good traditional French one with croissants, fresh bread, traditionally made jams, yogurt, tea or coffee, all at a reasonable cost. Madame the owner was charming, helpful and welcoming.

Very friendly owners who are so welcoming. The hotel is boutique style and is very clean, with modern rooms. We had a large, comfortable room with windows that we could open to enjoy the breeze. Serres is a tiny village, which is cute, close to Sisteron and Gap. The hotel seemed really popular with hikers and bikers. While small, Serres has some nice restaurants—traditional French ones but also Creole, Chinese.

We were passing through to start a week of mountain biking and were made very welcome by Gilles who bent over backwards to find us a parking space for 1 week. Beautiful comfortable suite. Very large Garage for bicycles and motorcycles. Thanks to them .

Family stay in the large attic room under the roof which is a small apar**ent with a small bedroom with 1 single bed, 1 other 2 single beds and a large double sofa bed and lounge area. Clean, well maintained, simple and very efficient. Comfortable, quiet and calm. Extremely cheerful, helpful and warm welcome. Breakfast tb. Good value for money and very pleasant with 3 children to have a large space for everyone in the same small apar**ent with each their own bedroom. We stayed in the family room - which turned out to be a spacious three-room apar**ent in the attic of the hotel. Beautiful view and a**ospheric under the beams. Be careful of tall people. There was no air conditioning, but it cooled down considerably in the evening, and you can open all the windows. The bathroom is a bit cramped (the toilet is separate, which is an advantage). Very friendly people. They have a garage for motorcyclists across the street, and had, without asking, reserved a parking space for us (by car) on the street directly in front of the hotel. Well located in Serres, the hotel has a small car park just in front of the entrance, and if necessary, free municipal car parks are just a stone's throw away.
