Mme. Stephanie was very attentive to our needs. She provided delicious, homemade breakfasts for us each morning, and we would recommend the wonderful, outdoor dinner with their family. Our room had a lovely view of the balloons rising in the morning, and the B&Bs location is ideal for local touristing.

Stunning room with a view, Stephanie is very friendly and their dog is super cute. Love the honesty bar and the table d'hôtes outside was wonderful. It's a shame the mosquitos had descended on the Dordogne because they rendered the pool unusable - felt like missing out when it has such a stunning view over the valley! We definitely want to visit again!

These are lovely people and it’s a beautiful located property. If you are from the UK or US the owners both speak amazing English and will make you most welcome. Two nights wasn’t enough, but we were unable to extend our stay as it was fully booked. Would love to come back one day.

My husband and I had been to this B&B in 2019 and when we decided that we wanted to do a vacation with the family we decided to return to Les Hautes de Saint Vincent. We felt very comfortable planning to use this B&B as our central location because we knew the fantastic quality the B&B provided. The owners, Stephanie and Fabrice, are both extremely welcoming people who go well out of their way to make everyone feel at home. We had 3 adult children, their spouses and our 15 yr. old granddaughter with us. They were all thrilled with the B&B. It is set in the countryside 1 K from Beynac-et-Cazenac and the castle there, and 12 K from Sarlat, a very old beautiful French village. Stephanie and Fabrice bought an old farmhouse and totally renovated it into a first class B&B. It is simply but beautifully decorated with 2 rooms on the ground floor and 3 rooms up stairs. They have a heated pool beside the house with lounge chairs and all you would need. There are many reasons to and stay with Stephanie and Fabrice but here are just a few: 1. They offer superb customer service, they go out of their way to be helpful. 2. Their accommodation is kept very clean and they do whatever they can to reduce waste and avoid use of plastic. 3. Stephanie makes a fantastic, homemade breakfast. She prepares a different cake every day, she serves fresh bread and croissants with her homemade jam, there is a fruit cup, yogurt, granola etc. You will not walk away hungry! 4. Fabrice is a hot air balloon pilot and they have their own balloons that they inflate directly behind the B&B, a 4 or an 8 person balloon. We have flown with him twice now and he is an excellent pilot. It is spectacular to fly over the nearby castles and chateaus. 5. Their location is very quiet, they are surrounded by fields, but you can hear the near by goats and sheep. 6. The area surrounding the B&B is full of activities for all ages: climbing up the two nearby castles; visiting beautiful gardens; seeing 29,000 year old original cave paintings; visiting a near by museum dedicated to cave art; visiting the old town of Sarlat, especially on Sat. and Wed. which are market days; riding down the Dordogne River in a canoe or in a boat; or visiting the interesting Josephine Baker chateau which has a daily performance of birds of prey. We even went go-carting nearby for our granddaughter's birthday. I hope this gives you some insight into this fantastic B&B that Stephanie and Fabrice operate and this wonderful area in southern France.

This is such a charming Bed and Breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights and can’t say enough about it. The property has been lovingly restored stone by stone and the owners have incredible taste. The structure itself most likely dates back hundreds of years and its historic integrity is intact and they managed to add tasteful modern conveniences. We met the family and their dog at dinner. Stephanie prepares an amazing home cooked meal if you want to take a break from going out. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, modern bathroom and a comfy bed. We had 180 degree views from our bedroom. You can see the Dordogne River, the Millard Chateau (Josephine Baker’s former home) and the rolling hills of the area. The B&B is also located near Beynac for excellent sightseeing of another Chateau and restaurants. It is perfectly situated for a canoe trip down the Dordogne, which we highly recommend.

I had to book here last minute when the place I had booked at called me and informed me that they were closed in October and had no idea how I was able to make a reservation.... What? Anyway... Beautiful area. You can see several chateau from the property as well as the wonderful chateau of Beynac. Stephanie was very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. The rooms were good, beds comfortable, bathroom clean. Breakfasts were good, though very French in character which meant that it was just breads, jams, and yogurt. But it was very good. Stephanie made delicious home-made breads for us. Very centrally located for the more popular chateau on the Loire. Lots of restaurants in Tours, which is very nearby. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice and there was lots of land around the place to hike. Overall it was a good place to stay and we would came back here again.

We had a wonderful relaxing time in the Dordogne, made all the better for having a homey, warm, welcoming place to stay. Room was very comfortable, bed great, bathrooms modern, decor well done, dark and quiet for good sleep, with great views and lots of sunshine when you want. Breakfasts were delicious, sometimes at shared table with other guests and other times alone in a lovely dining room. We enjoyed the relaxing living room full of interesting books, with a fire going on a chilly day, self-service beer and quiet space to read, with soft modern jazz in the background. We shared two dinners with Stephanie and another couple of travelers, during our stay, making for interesting conversation. Stephanie is fluent in English and a wonderful hostess, full of great recommendations for our explorations, navigating restaurant reservations for us, and giving us directions for a long walk through the local countryside. She is also a talented chef and dinners were superb examples of country home French cooking. Home is beautifully restored and in great shape. Next time we’ll plan our visit when we can take a hot air balloon ride with her husband who is a pilot. Highly recommended B&B.

Stephanie will welcome you with a beautiful property, relaxing garden and pool, delicious breakfasts and convivial evenings. We stayed for a week, exploring the region and returning each hot afternoon to cool off by the pool. Definitely join in on the table-d'hotes; we enjoyed three lovely dinners with other guests under the chestnut tree. An easy location for visiting the Dordogne if you have a car, everything is a short drive and your host will provide recommendations and resources for exploring. A lovely, quiet retreat from the busyness of the region.

We stayed 9 nights and found Stephanie an excellent host. Breakfast and evening meals were in the garden when it was warm enough or at a communal table in the dining room. Stephanie prepares tasty home cooked meals three times a week. We booked a double room with a single bed to give us plenty of space. The swimming pool is very clean and warm with sun loungers to read our books. The building is even nicer than it looks on the website. Very convenient for the Dordogne’s attractions. Stephanie helps all the guests with local suggestions for restaurants and day trips. Its a very friendly, happy place and we would recommend it to our friends.
