Clean warm room, comfy beds, great location 20min walk into Salzburg. Would not bother with the breakfast it’s €10 for continental but not a lot of selection so not worth the amount they charge, there is plenty of places to eat for less

We should have known when the receptionist was mocking the previous guests for not understanding English, that this hotel's priority was not about a positive guest experience. The room was clean, but if you enjoy bedroom doors, Wifi that works, a kettle, cups, tea or coffee, air-conditioning and a television from this decade, you will be disappointed. If you consider a breakfast featuring rotten fruit and fruit flies tasty, you are in luck! Just dont eat too much, as portion control is a high priority at this hotel! While the cleaning staff were faultless in their always pleasant greetings, it's a shame the front of house staff couldn't do the same. Leaving Hotel Drei (or Hotel dread as we have renamed it) was not a sad event. With our clothing soaked in the aroma of the Indian restaurant downstairs, we struggled out the doors with our luggage as the man at the desk laughed with his colleague in our general direction. Goodbye Hotel Drei Kreuz!, you have a lot of work to do!!

It was very hot in the room. Other then that, they were very accommodating.

Very nice for an overnight stay

Location was not good. Not walkable to train station. City center is approximately a 20 minute walk as well. Internet wasn’t working properly. I tried to log on several times but couldn’t. Warm water in the shower turned to cool water within 10 minutes. Breakfast was very skimpy but staff asked a lot for it. (7 euros) I would have to recommend a different property. Although hotel was very quiet. Hotel staff obliged when I asked for a room facing the courtyard.

Venlig betjening. Ok til et par dages ophold ved besøg i byen. Stille og roligt kvarter. Ingen åben restaurant, idet reception lukkede kl. 20. Benyttede ikke morgenbuffeten.

Easter and Easter Monday 2024, with the family. Excellent location, just outside the centre, so in 5 minutes on foot you are immediately in the pedestrian area and can easily reach the historic part. Personal, friendly and helpful. Very clean facility, with spacious, simple and well-kept rooms. We had a great time. The breakfast should be reviewed, good, but it's not 10e per person. However, without breakfast, it is recommended.

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights with my family. Clean, excellent location in 20 minutes on foot you are in the center otherwise there is a bus stop around the corner. Helpful and friendly staff. The girl who welcomed us spoke Italian well and explained everything to us very well. Breakfast well-stocked. Unfortunately, there is no bidet, air conditioning or safe in the rooms

About twenty minutes walk from the center, it is easy to reach it by car, it would really be equated to what in Spain would be a Hostel or a Pension. For example, it closes at night and to access the building you enter with your room key. However, the price is for a four-star hotel. The room we stayed in (a quadruple) was very hot (and it wasn't hot in the city), and it only had a small fan. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. The breakfast was worth 7 euros and it was buffet style, which for that price is definitely worth it.

As soon as we arrived, the receptionist welcomed us, gave us some indications of the place, showing a map. The room was cozy, well heated and clean. It is not in the center of the city but 13 minutes on foot and we are in the main part. We chose not to have breakfast. I didn't have high expectations of this hotel but I really enjoyed it.

Popular hotel, a little out of the center but still convenient for both the bus and a walk. Not optimal parking for the car, for those who need it. Simple but spacious, clean rooms. WIFI to improve. Standard but rich breakfast. The hotel with the best prices in the area.

Very friendly reception - room impeccable - were only there one night to celebrate and the breakfast was unfortunately canceled on our part. When I'm back in Salzburg, I'll gladly book the Hotel Drei Kreuz again!

Central location in Salzburg, easy to reach by car or train

Excellent hotel because of the location, within 10 minutes you are in the center of the city. It is a simple hotel but neat and clean and a parking lot at a 2-minute walk, for which you have to pay 10 euros per night. Restaurants etc nearby. We did not eat breakfast there, but walked into town and had a very good breakfast.
