Our experience at this quaint place was exceptional! We were in town for a family wedding and most of our family stayed here and loved it! Vanessa greeted us and was in tune with our needs and was very helpful, friendly and easy to work with. Margaret made our breakfast and did so much for us also! She is a gem! The breakfast each morning was exceptional and just the right amount of food for us! We recieved many text messages to check in on us and felt that the folks here were certainly engaged in making our stay the best it could be. We would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect to walk on the Riverwalk in either direction to find the things we wanted to see and for dining for and shopping.

Inn on the Riverwalk has such an at home feel. Margaret and Roland were so welcoming and personable. I have food allergies and they were so accommodating with breakfast and meet my every need. ❤️ The area is very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back to San Antonio.

We had a wonderful time at the Inn. The breakfast was very good and hand made just in time for every traveler. The person was very, very nice and worked very hard to please all guests. We normally get up early and she was already there at 6am to start preparing for the break-fast at 8:30. The room was very cozy and quiet. There were plenty of chairs on the porch outside and I spent quite a bit of time there since it was so quiet and nice outside. The owner stopped by every morning during breakfast and talked with everyone which was also a very nice touch. The house outside could use a new coat of paint and a second chair in our room would have been also nice for the evenings. Everything else was very clean and very, very comfy with nice pictures, and other things. It felt like someones home and not a hotel or a standard run of the mill B&B. The Inn is very close to downtown. We walked there a few times a day along the river on very nicely maintained walk ways to visit the riverwalk downtown with all the Restaurants, the Alamo, and museums. We only took an Uber/Lyft for more distant places like the farmers market, botanical gardens, or the missions south of SAT. It's maybe .5-.7 miles to downtown.

Just finished a 2 night stay in the Bowie suite and we loved it! Our first time at a B&B and I definitely reccomend it. Friendly staff, quality service, delicious breakfast and coffee on the patio deck were our favorite parts. We love the location. On the riverwalk but not in the tourist trap area and we felt safe! The home is definitely vintage and but felt clean. Interior and exterior could probably use some fresh paint and a couple upgrades. The bed and sheets were so comfy! The window AC unit worked great. The shower and bathroom were cute and clean as well. Roland, the owner, was present in the mornings and he was so kind and friendly. 10/10 reccomend you staying at this place for a couple’s getaway!

Welcoming host, stops to greet each person at breakfast. Friendly staff. Quiet B&B with convenient access to Riverwalk. Comfortable bed, quaint patio. Delicious breakfast. Free off street parking. House needs paint inside & out but didn’t detract from stay.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. My wife and I stayed two nights in the Yellow Rose Penthouse. The room was excellent, with it's own private balcony. The Inn is lovely old and creaky, a real gem. The bathroom was great, excellent shower. The breakfast was perfect and a great way to start the day. Wonderful location to explore the Riverwalk, Alamo, etc. And having parking on premises too! Roland was a great host and took the time to talk to us, offer advice, etc. Highly recommend.

The Inn consists of two old, beautifully refurbished houses across the street from one another. Good parking next door by reservation. Literally one staircase from the Riverwalk, with easy walks into the heart of San Antonio or up into the open spaces. King-size bed, very comfortable. Antique decor felt like it belong there, rather than "appropriate decoration." Loved the owners, and the food. Superior value.

Our second time and definitely not our last. Looking forward to our stay next year! Roland and Margaret are great and attentive. This time we stayed in the cabin. It was cute and quaint, it was like stepping back in history with the benefits of modern amenities.

My husband and I went there for my birthday weekend, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, there was great communication prior to arrival, easy access to the riverwalk and great breakfast. It was a short walk on the riverwalk to go to the downtown area.

This cute place was the perfect landing place after a day walking the river walk. It was quiet and felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was very delicious and Marta was the perfect hostess heart

The Inn on the Riverwalk is situated in a lovely and convenient spot on a dead end street with an access to the Riverwalk right outside. It is only about a 10 minute walk to the busy tourist area. The inn itself is over 100 years old, and could use some maintenance, but it was clean, has great character, and all the amenities you'd need. We stayed in the Yellow Rose penthouse, which was up 3 flights of stairs, but had ample space, a king bed, a modern bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, amazing water pressure, good quality soft bath towels and Bee Kind soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. It had 2 separate, private decks with chairs that overlook the riverwalk. There was a TV, a mini fridge, an iron and board, and a hair dryer. The only complaint was minor, and it was just that they need to use maybe a deeper pocket sheet, because the sheet slipped off the mattress all night. Oh, and an ice machine would have been useful to me, but we made do. The breakfast was a set menu, made to order, and served from 8:30 to 9:30. The food was simple, tasty, and just the right amount. One day we had pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon, and another day we had breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage with a lovely soft multigrain toast. Cholula hot sauce sat on every table (yum!) There was very strong coffee, orange and apple juice and tea and water available as well. There was a tip jar for the young lady cooking. The front desk is staffed only until 3, but they email and text you in the week preceding your stay with instructions on how to get in, and they are responsive when you text that number with questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again. It's clean, it's charming, it's got a great location.

This place has a such a good vibe. My home is nothing like this, yet it felt like “home” ☺️. We were able to explore so much within walking distance, and then retreat to the inn whenever we wanted. It felt secluded, yet it’s near everything.
