Despite closed Swimmingpool everything was top!

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in; and for the last 50 years, I've spent 1/3 of each year in hotels, be it business or pleasure. On the positive side I can only say it is nicely located, close to the lake and the staff, if young and quite inexperienced, is nice. We started in a standard room which was horrible: tiny balcony with no view whatsover, full of paint stains all over the place, moisture in the bathroom, cheap looking and old furniture etc. So we changed to a junior suite. At least there was some view but not only did everything also look very oldish (yes the hotel is called Design Suites, but in the style of the 70s with no upkeep...) but for the first time in my life I saw this suite was "provided" with: - no aircon (it was in the 30s during our stay - no tissues - no face towel - no shaving mirror - a boiler but no coffee bags (and only 2 tea bags!!) - only 2 electric plugs with international adaptors - 2 armchairs with a torn plastic cover - curtains not closing properly - if 2 robes were provided, both were child size and we were 2 adults - toilet flush not working properly Public area in the building we were staying were filthy: look at the pictures I took from the lift to the room! And to put a very sour cherry on the cake, at breakfast which was included in our tariff, we were charged for boiled eggs and expressos!!! We've stayed in close to 10 hotels in Argentine and this is truly a first time. I truly wonder if the general manager of this place is located 10000 miles away.

The hotel is lovely but there is no air conditioner in the room. It can get quite warm. But the grounds are lovely with beautiful views and with artful landscaping. The city is within walking distance, but the hotel is removed enough to be perfectly quiet. Well worth the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Staff were excellent  Rooms had an amazing view with a hot tub/jacuzzi in each room by the window overlooking the view of the mountains/lake. Bed was very comfortable. Internet could be a little slow at times. Food was excellent, breakfast was very good. A very relaxing stay with rooms with a view to die for. We had rooms in the 3rd block the higher up you go the better the view. 05 rooms have a jacuzzi in the bay window of the room overlooking the lake. Would most certainly come back.   .

The positives: All the staff were lovely The view from breakfast is breathtaking The negatives: The hotel was very dated and needs redecorating. Our bathroom had a lot of black mould. The room walls are very thin, you can hear everything from your neighbours (throughout the night) - bring ear plugs. The breakfast was very average, but it was made better by the view from breakfast. Overall, this was sadly not a 4 * hotel experience and it wasn’t the relaxing experience we were hoping for.

Pros: Great location, walkable to town Solid breakfast with friendly staff (reservations at set times required) Powerful and enjoyable shower Cons: The windows and walls might as well be made of paper. We could hear our neighbors conversations, zipping of bags, everything from within the building and the dogs barking outside continuously at 5 am. The noise factor should be considered by anyone visiting. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. Also, struggled to get taxis at the location. The task seemed to baffle the front desk when we asked for help on more than one occasion and led to cabs appearing, leaving and long wait times. So plan ahead if attempting this.

We came here for the third time (once on winter for skiing and twice in the summer). The staff is very friendly, especially Agustina the manager, and Ricardo, one of the waiters. Internet is much better now than when we came before.

Excellent service but above all the staff are very warm. It was beautiful to enjoy the pool and the snow, two seasons at the same time. Super recommended!!

I went with my son to spend a long weekend. The rooms are far from the reception and AN UBER OR TAXI CANNOT PASS YOU TO YOUR ROOM. You have to take a hotel van that is not equipped to accommodate a person with reduced mobility. They don't even care. Very insensitive. Horrible food is an understatement. In the rooms you can hear everything that happens in the other rooms. I would never return. Very expensive for the poor experience we had. When I went to ask them if they could take the taxi to my room they flatly refused. There are many other options that are better.

Incredible is an understatement. We went the second half of March. Excellent room and facilities. The view is beautiful. The very friendly treatment of all the hotel staff. The hyper-complete breakfasts, with a view of the lake. Dinner with a very extensive menu. Also the snacks. They have a place inside the lobby with a tourism agency that offers excursions at the same price as in the center. You don't have to move to acquire them. The heated outdoor and indoor pool is wonderful and has a view of the huapi. We are happy to have chosen the hotel to spend a few days in one of the cities I love the most. We will come back!!!!!!!! PS: As a tip if you go on excursions, order food from the hotel. They are very economical and complete

A Hotel with its own style with 4-star characteristics, it is very picturesque, the rooms are spacious for two people, the breakfast service is adequate, the staff's attention is correct, the parking is adequate

We chose a suite room that, luckily and out of deference to the employees, had a view of the lake, in module 3. It had a beautiful balcony with a dream view. It doesn't make you want to leave the place. They take you in a car from the common places if you don't feel like going up and down your own way. Perhaps the bathroom is not well lit for my taste (white light) but it is a matter of taste. The breakfast room is beautiful, the breakfast is very complete and I definitely recommend eating at the hotel. Price, quality, view, difficult to find in Bariloche. Some points that could be improved, the exit and entry with the vehicle, is a bit bureaucratic (they ask for a room and license every time you enter and leave) and I recommend asking that the room be cleaned in the morning. The heated pool is a dream. The gym too, but this time I chose to eat crazy so I saw it as an enemy. Very good location, although not central, it is essential to have mobility. Separate paragraph for the kindness of the people, I emphasize the waiters Cristian and Rosa. The cleanliness of the room, impeccable.

Excellent hotel despite being a little far from the center of Bariloche. The rooms are very comfortable, very spacious and cozy, the restaurant offers delicious dishes and the staff is always attentive to resolve your concerns. I will return next time!

I thought the place was excellent, I was in the first module with an excellent view, there are different types of rooms, mine at least was really good with hydro and a very good view of the lake. The people are extraordinary in their attention, the outdoor pool with water at 27 degrees, a pleasure. The restaurant is very good and the breakfasts are complete. All 10 points, I do recommend renting a car to get to know the landscapes of Bariloche well. It is located near the center, but it is a mess of people, just to do a couple of purchases and that's it. The rest of the day I recommend a small circuit, if you can travel the path of the 7 lakes, etc. but it was a satisfaction to return to the hotel. to enjoy.
