It was nice to be informed at check-in that cleaning would not be done unless requested. It's because I don't have to worry about it when I want to rest comfortably without going out. 10 minutes to convention. Shopping centers near the Mexican border are also 10-15 minutes away, and 15 minutes to Koreatown. It was a very convenient location for transportation.

Nice clean hotel; good staff.
Hotel is a little out of (SAN) downtown but there’s a local trolley stop (24th Street) 10minutes walk.
We had requested a quiet room. We were initially in Room 241 but unable to sleep first night due to music from local bar and noisy AC. Hotel moved us for our second night to Room 221 and everything was fine.

Rude staff whos not very helpful or professional in keeping communications open between them.
This is the second time I go to this hotel & have staff walk in my room after one knocked. Then they act surprised that somones in the room. You'd think they'd communicate with one another with which room are occupied or unocuppied. They should also be giving more time to respond if they have business being at the door.
I did not receive my drinks upon check-in as offered upon reserving room. So make sure to ask for it, hopefully they wont tell you they dont have anything.

The hotel is excellent, very clean and at a convenient location. The staff is friendly. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. The only downside is the restaurant next door has live music on Saturday, very loud and noisy.

The only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was that they don’t clean the room unless you ask for, I did ask for cleaning service but they didn’t do it, other than that the room was clean when we first got there and the staff was friendly, location is great
