We did the mixology class with Stefano and it was amazing! He was very helpful and patient teaching us all the drinks. We had a fun time and the drinks were fantastic. Definitely recommend on your next trip to Verdura Resort! He taught us how to make any drink we wanted after we finished making the drinks on the menu.

Verdura resort was amazing. The staff was top notch and took the best care of us during our stay. The scenery was breathtaking at every view. We really enjoyed spending days at the spa and taking in the pools. Each restaurant we ate at had the most delicious food.

This resort complex blends Italian hospitality with elegant rooms and furnishings with an agroturisme flair. Every detail has been thought out with warm, friendly service everywhere. The front desk has a can-do attitude-no request is too simple or difficult-a helicopter transfer or spare parts for a mobile phone are both easily managed. I usually flee hotels when it comes to lunches and dinners but this place bucks the trend. Being in an isolated location we were lucky that every meal was delicious, expertly prepared and beautifully presented on Italian ceramic plates with colorful patterns. The wine cellar here is also impressive from local Mt Eta wines to French Champagnes. The buffet breakfast is abundant and offers many local specialties including Sicily’s unique brioche & lemon granita dish plus smoked swordfish and olive oil produced from the resort’s olive trees. There is plenty to do here (golf, free bicycles, swimming pool, the beach [very rocky/pebble covered shoreline], hiking, water sports, or do nothing but watch the ocean view from the balcony of your room. It was a wonderful relaxing experience-I hope to return one day!

A magical place with stunning views, a top notch spa, spacious rooms and amazing food, some of which is grown on the premises! If you're looking for total relaxation, this is your place. We did not want to leave. A big thanks to Stefania, Cristian, Nando and Ivana (as well as the rest of the staff). Everyone was so welcoming and it made our stay all the more special. We hope to be back soon!

This was an OUTSTANDING resort. Every attention to detail: ample # of free bicycles all over the property (not just 1st come 1st serve); delicious seaside restaurant, lovely Salad Granita (tuna on fresh geeens) for lunch; active beach and water sport staff; our room was beautifully appointed and cleaned daily; attention paid to recycling....Fitness center was large and AC worked; Spa was beautiful. 5 swimming pools.

The hotel is amazing. Great rooms, excellent bed and has the best service. The staff is great, specially Marco (restaurant) who since we arrived in the very first day treated us with kindness and patience and made everything easy, specially because we have kids among us.

This is a cut and paste of my google review. We had a wonderful family Holliday for two weeks in July 2023 after a good friend of ours recommended. Very quickly rebooked for this year it was so good. Excellent range of restaurants, terrific wine list, a kids. Kind we could barely keep our 13,12 and 8 year old out of. A really wide range of activities including football with World Cup legend Zambrotta, scuba, tennis, padal, two top class golf courses (I played both) and a fantastic gym and spa. To name but a few of the features. That said , what makes the place special for the people - I feel bad naming a few as the calibre of everyone we interacted with was super . Fabrizio brilliantly looked after us at breakfast and especially dinner incredibly well also providing great local recommendations. He really went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and looked after. And his wife Louisa was very lovely as well looking out for us in the morning. Serena at Liola was a star especially helping us navigate the menu with our kids allergies. We tended to eat at the pool bar often in the day where Francesco always made us feel welcome and looked after with a big smile as well . The legend that is Nando Papa selected some brilliant Sicilian wine and entertained us with stories. We enjoyed a number of the themes nights with Maurizio doing a brilliant job of those by the pool in the evening . The Sicilian themed night is a must at Liola as well. Fabiola looked after our son wonderfully at the football and Daniele at Granita was great fun encouraging us to have an extra cocktail pre dinner.

Beautiful property with gorgeous beachfront restaurant and stunning architecture. We stayed for 2 nights with a group of 12 friends. The service was rather mediocre for a 5* (and expensive) resort. The cocktail I ordered was in a cracked glass - when I pointed it out, the waiter was blazé about the incident. Never mind, that is a relatively small matter...but then we received a letter that there would be no water in our rooms for 6 hours. When the water finally returned (possibly 8 hours later), there was brown mud/sand coming out of the taps. This continued despite running the water for a long time. There was no hot water either - and even the next morning there was no water. I understand that pipes can burst without notice and such emergencies happen, so it was not the resort's fault that they had to fix the issue. However, the hotel did nothing at all to address our concerns about how to brush our teeth in brown water (eg. deliver an extra bottle of water?) and where to shower, or make us feel that they were concerned for our comfort during the stay. There was no suggestion of changing the room, or even the slightest gesture to show they cared. Upon checkout, we asked for some compensation for the uncomfortable night (no shower, only cold water the next day, brown water to brush our teeth). Nothing was offered. We asked to speak to the GM, but he "hadn't arrived yet". A very disappointing visit. PS. We played 18 holes on the East Course, and the condition of the course was not great. Fairways brown and tee boxes uneven. The greens were decent. FYI for the golfers out there - it is far off being the "Best course in Italy" as claimed.

Great staff and top class facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The restaurants in the resort were very good. We plan to be here again in the Autumn. The Pro Shop was sufficient. The golf course is splendid. We will plan a Golf vacation at the Resort.

Our stay at Verdura was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in luxury and tranquility. The resort's stunning architecture seamlessly blends with the natural beauty of its surroundings, creating an ambiance that is both elegant and serene. My children and I visited Verdura last summer and had one of the best summers of our lives. All on account to the attentiveness and kindness of the exemplary staff of the resort. 5* experience - stayed with a friend for 3n 3 rounds of golf on the excellent East & West courses. Room was great, spacious and excellent amenities and turn down service. All rooms seem to have a fantastic sea view which is lovely. The outdoor pool was cold and not heated but the spa made up for this with 4 outdoor hydrotherapy pools and a superb indoor lap pool. Excellent (huge) steam room with saunas in respective changing rooms. The service at all bars and restaurants was outstanding - the fresh fish options at Amare were great, and all dishes were excellent. At the bar, restaurant, reception and club house all staff were friendly and helpful. The golf courses were in good condition, East with more hazards and nice layout and the West with more signature holes along the coastline. Few things for improvement with the golf; Carts had no gps - would expect it 2/3 days no starter at the hut Distance markers not very clear No drinks buggy service in 3 rounds! No halfway house Clubs not cleaned Golf clubhouse closed for refurb Course was quiet in April which was a bonus - rounds within 4 hours for 2 with a buggy. However post round drinks at the hotel terrace were fabulous. 3 great restaurants, casual bar, hotel restaurant and Amare beach restaurant. Not much to do locally without a car and travelling at least 20 mins to nearby towns - however the hotel is a perfect resort location for rest & relaxation, golf or spa. Appeared to be good facilities for kids with kids club with small pool, basketball, volleyball, football, tennis and an imported sandy beach (rest is rocky). Would happily return!
