Hotels near Jamsil Hangang Park Pool, Seoul

Hotel location is good, very close to Metro Line 2, five minutes walk is also good decoration, to the modern duty-free shops, the Jamsil is very close, there are a lot of food around, especially convenient.

Geographically great! It was really nice to see a performance at the Sports Complex and even hit the crowded subway :) It was comfortable to be able to enter the room within 20 minutes even if you walk slowly! I like it because there are many restaurants nearby haha ​​But the towel smelled so I couldn't use it, so I only used my own towel.

The room is not very big but is definitely clean. The service staff very helpful even they can’t speak our language she will try their level best to assist us. They are very honest too because we forgot our ring and they manage to find it and return it back to us. The location have a lot of foods but just one thing if u are not someone who likes to drink maybe is not where u wanted to stay. Not recommended if you are travelling with kids

The hotel is modern, super clean, well-run, and quiet. The rooms have stylish decor with many modern touches and amenities. It was nice to have a window that actually opened and my ”garden” view was lovely. I had a tranquil time with no odd interruptions from housekeeping, etc. The signage and guides for things like TV and neighborhood were cleverly done. While I appreciated the room safe, I felt very safe and comfortable in this hotel. There is greeter/staff person on the ground floor level, acknowledging every guest. I never say this post being ”ghosted” in my 4 nights there. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked like a nice option, if you will eat a buffet! The subway was close by, as well as a small grocery, ”Everyday Mart” which I was actually able to find on Google Maps. There is no pool here. I don't think this is a ”supreme” fun hotel for kids, as there is nothing special for them, but it was still good and relaxing. ( no kids with me on this trip). There are coffee shops and Olive Young, 7-11 in the basement. Very convenient. One thing to note- if you are doing medical procedures in Seoul, you have to leave your ice packs at the front desk ( and go down and get them). Staff is very responsive, discreet, and quick to help you with the packs, regardless. That is a pretty big inconvenience, which is why I stayed elsewhere, but moved to this hotel shortly after I stopped needed an icepak all the time. The hotel will glady microwave your food, if needed. Would be nice to just have a communal microwave somewhere!

Well located with all facilities necessary. Not the usual tourist spot but a friendly area with lots of restaurants, Lotte & sensegate department store nearby. Also Time Square and underground shopping arcade. There is a local food market around too. You can get every local Seoul item there in local price, not tourist higher price trap. Enjoy your stay

Our experience in Merlin Hotel is nothing short but, amazing. The owner and staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful, they were very accommodating during our stay. Although the service and facilities may not be the greatest, in comparison to a 5 star hotel, it was sufficient and well equipped. The rooms does not come with toiletries, however, it is provided at front desk which is top-up daily by staff, and guest may take as much as they require. As for cleaning services, the staff will change towel (put it inside the provided basket) and do minimal cleaning of room (sweep or, mop the room) daily. The location of the hotel is near Chungmuro station, just take exit 8 (stairs) or, exit 1 (escalator; will require to cross road to reach hotel). The subway itself is an ideal station with intercepting line which is, Line 4 and Line 3. Additionally, it is also a stop away from Dongdaemun with transfer line of Line 2, Line 4 and Line 4. It is a walking distance to Myeongdong, approximately 10 - 15 minutes depending on your walking speed. Overall, I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Korea, not because of the hotel location or etc but, the staff there who were an absolute ray of sunshine with their positive energy.

It's very close to Seoul Station, so it's very convenient for transportation. The large road in front of Seoul Station cannot be crossed at ground level, so we recommend exiting from Exit 10. The couple who run the facility were kind and showed us how to use the room. The room is really small, but if you don't mind that, it's clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The shower is located in a small space between the toilet and sink, so I think it's a good idea to bring paper slippers. Even if I returned late at night, I felt safe because it was right in front of Seoul Station. The taxi driver told me he didn't know the name of the hotel, but when I told him ``Seoul Namdaemun Police Station,'' he immediately recognized it. I plan to use it again when I travel alone.

We absolutely loved this place, as it is an overall great value for money. It is very well located with nearby access to public transportation (busses & subway) in a lively neighbourhood that provides a full range of amenities suitable for all types of travellers: great affordable restaurants (both traditional and international couisine), shops, nice caffes & bars. The hotel rooms are very spacious with high quality finishings, very clean and the beds are extremly confortable; the free breakfast is quite generous and tasty. Although the neighborhood is buzzing with young people out on a night of fun, the hotel in well insulated wich guarantees a good nights rest :). What we liked best was the staff of the hotel, always happy to assist and provide information - when available, they also provide free trips around the city and we were pretty lucky to get to see some gems this city offers, mostly known by locals. This hotel is an overall 10/10 and we strongly recommend it!

We stayed here during the height of the Covid Quarantine in South Korea. We were quarantined here for our mandatory 7-day quarantine. We were scared to death, we got off the government bus that dropped us off here. Could not tell much because everything was walled off in plastic but let me say. We got to our room, and it was very nice. We had a beautiful view of the marina. We watched ducks and boats come in and out all day. The staff although many were government workers were more than helpful. We did not get to see any of the other parts of the hotel, but from the photos it looks amazing. I rate this place high because the room was amazing, an amazing bathroom. and the service was amazing although we never got to leave the room. I would love to come back here after Covid and visit this place on our own terms. I bet it is breathtaking. The people were so helpful and the food was very good.
