Hotels near Color Pool Museum, Seoul

The transport guesthouse in the middle of Seoul is quiet and cozy, and the staff are friendly and my family visited their homeland stayed comfortably. It was a great luck to find a place where you can stay comfortably without any cost while looking for a suitable place to do Seoul City Tour. There were many restaurants around, so I could have a food dinner. It was great to have a friendly staff guide the restaurants around.

Our experience in Merlin Hotel is nothing short but, amazing. The owner and staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful, they were very accommodating during our stay. Although the service and facilities may not be the greatest, in comparison to a 5 star hotel, it was sufficient and well equipped. The rooms does not come with toiletries, however, it is provided at front desk which is top-up daily by staff, and guest may take as much as they require. As for cleaning services, the staff will change towel (put it inside the provided basket) and do minimal cleaning of room (sweep or, mop the room) daily. The location of the hotel is near Chungmuro station, just take exit 8 (stairs) or, exit 1 (escalator; will require to cross road to reach hotel). The subway itself is an ideal station with intercepting line which is, Line 4 and Line 3. Additionally, it is also a stop away from Dongdaemun with transfer line of Line 2, Line 4 and Line 4. It is a walking distance to Myeongdong, approximately 10 - 15 minutes depending on your walking speed. Overall, I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Korea, not because of the hotel location or etc but, the staff there who were an absolute ray of sunshine with their positive energy.

Note that this is a self-service check-in! You will not receive the room number and door lock password by email until 12 noon (Seoul time) on the day of check-in! So be sure to leave your email address on Ctrip, otherwise you won’t be able to enter the gate and there will be no front desk! No staff! (Ctrip didn’t even remind you of such an important matter. After reading other people’s comments, there have been tragic situations where you couldn’t contact the hotel and couldn’t check in!) Fortunately, I wanted to store my luggage at 9 a.m. that day, so I met a staff member who was passing by. I got the password for the luggage room in advance and confirmed my email address with him. Otherwise, I would have been worried about whether Ctrip had passed my email address to the hotel. Therefore, I would like to remind everyone who wants to check in, if you have any questions, you can see the contact information in Figure 2. After check-in, all needs are fulfilled by the online customer service provided in the email. The hotel only provides drinking water and towels for one night. If you need more, please contact the online customer service (reply intelligently first, and then assign to the manual customer service of the hotel) ), a maximum of 3 nights are provided free of charge. No matter how long you stay, you will have to pay for more than 3 nights. Refer to Figure 3 Figure 4. It is very close to Changdeokgung Palace. It is a 5-minute walk north from the hotel. There is a place to rent Hanbok on the main road opposite the entrance of Changdeokgung Palace. Walking south from the hotel, the alleys along the way are full of barbecue restaurants, roadside stalls and bars where locals gather, but the taste is average. If you want delicious food, you may still go to the Internet celebrity shop in the guide. At the end of the alley is the clock Road 3 Street subway station, very convenient. The hotel is very new, and the rooms are in IKEA style, white, simple and clean, but not particularly distinctive. There is a washing machine with drying function, induction cooker and various cooking utensils and tableware, as well as brewing coffee pods. The equipment and facilities are very practical.

Location is good near myeongdong night street, subway station and Lotte shopping mall, young plaza. The only issue here is since is winter the aircon is set to heater mode the whole room is so hot cannot set even when controller is stated off, the heater is still working hence we all got puzzled. Next issues is the lift, if have more than a room and even stated in the request. End up giving and stay different tower of different floor from 11 onwards need to take another lift. Which is very troublesome. Not convenient at all. Lastly, if you travel with family that have more than 2 beds the room is very small only can have 1 pax walking at a time and luggages have to be closed if there a more than 2 checkin luggages.

Well located with all facilities necessary. Not the usual tourist spot but a friendly area with lots of restaurants, Lotte & sensegate department store nearby. Also Time Square and underground shopping arcade. There is a local food market around too. You can get every local Seoul item there in local price, not tourist higher price trap. Enjoy your stay

Pleasant stay in the heart of the city Location The hotel's location is fantastic. It's right in the heart of Seoul, within walking distance of the vibrant Dongdaemun Design Plaza, shopping centers, and many local restaurants. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient. **Rooms The room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a comfortable stay. The only minor drawback was that the decor felt a bit dated compared to some newer hotels. Dining The hotel's dining options were decent, but I found myself venturing out to nearby restaurants for most meals, as Seoul offers an incredible variety of culinary experience. RAMADA BY WYNDHAM SEOUL DONGDAEMUN offers a comfortable and convenient stay in one of Seoul's most vibrant neighborhoods. While it may not have the flashiest amenities, the excellent location and friendly staff make it a solid choice for travelers looking to explore the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul, especially if you value a central location and attentive service.

One of the most amazing hotels that I’ve ever stayed! Very reasonable price very great location! Very nice room condition, it was very clean and comfortable. And in the bathroom, there’s a small area with mirror is very very convenient for girls to make up. I want to make a good comment on that.  And I want to comment that every single staff that I encounter with was very professional, very helpful and fluent in English, I was surprised and happy! During my stay, I accidentally make the bed sheet dirty which I was very very sorry about that, but they didn’t charge me which I also surprised because with my previous stays, in other hotels, they usually will charge  Even though the breakfast selections was not much, but the breakfast was really delicious and enjoyable. The condition of the restaurant was also very nice! And the first floor they have a coffee shop, which is really convenient for those who stay in hotel and the tourist! In their lobby they also have a small bar who can self service for the beverage. They have coffee and tea that was super nice and surprised for me! The surrounding area was also very convenient and close to the subway station. And also, they are very nice to foreigners,all the floors and all the signs with English and the guide for staying in the hotel are presented in four languages! For those who using wow pass here definitely is a good choice because in their lobby they have one machine which is super super convenient !!  Definitely will recommend Roynet Hotel to everyone ! This is the first time I write such a long comment.I feel very welcomed and warm in here.  And it is very likely for the next time I visiting Seoul again and I will staying here again!

The location is very good! A new hotel located at Dongdaemun Station will be completed in 2023! It only takes one minute to walk to the hotel from Exit 3 of Dongdaemun Station. You can walk into the alley from the intersection. There are small supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. nearby. The room is well soundproofed. It is not big but has all the essentials. The air-conditioning is quiet and comfortable. , using smart devices, the lights near the door will light up when detected, and there is also a TV for watching Netflix and other programs. The room is equipped with multi USB cables, but the room only has round sockets (?), and the travel plug is not available. If you need to charge the camera, you may have to ask the front desk. In addition, I am not satisfied with the integrated bathroom and toilet, but it is also clean and hygienic, with complete toiletries and comfortable beds. Indoor slippers, bathroom slippers and a refrigerator are also provided. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it and the price/performance ratio is high.

Great Hotel and super close to the City Express Bus Terminal. Staff were super helpful! Clean room and very spacious as well.

This is the view I had when I arrived and when I woke up. Right at the foot of the bed. The location is great. I was able to walk to amd from the market a few times in the day. I did walk all the way to Seoul Tower seen in the pics. I didnt time the walk because I was randomly walking in that direction, exploring. The busy map was day 2, the chill map was day 1. I didnt use an app for directions I just used landmarks. Its easy 😅. The hotel desk ordered a taxi for me to get to Seoul Station. My room had a bath. Loved it. The wall is high so hang your towel, bathe, wrap up in towel, sit on tub wall and get out. Its safer. They have a corner store in the lobby for food, wine and beer.
