"Disappointing experience — especially for non-Italian guests Unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed at this hotel. During breakfast, I felt that Italian and wealthy-looking guests received much warmer and more attentive service, while other guests were often ignored. Some restaurant staff were unfriendly, unprofessional and worked with very negative attitudes. As a non-Italian guest, I never felt completely comfortable. Our room was also not what I expected. Although I booked a double room, we were given three beds, with the “double bed” actually being two single beds pushed together. This was very uncomfortable, especially as my young daughter sleeps next to me. I was already exhausted and unwell, so I simply tolerated it rather than making another complaint. I do want to thank the hotel manager, who was kind and professional. When she realised I was not feeling well, she arranged for breakfast to be brought to our room. Those mornings were much more pleasant and peaceful. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return to this hotel and would not recommend it particularly to non-Italian guests or families with young children. Every guest should receive the same level of respect and hospitality, regardless of nationality or perceived wealth."
