This is difficult where to start , after speaking with other guests the main complaints are the food , it’s nearly the same everyday and not that good , breakfast is ok , the deserts flatter to deceive they look fantastic but taste bland ,presentation is poor , rooms are kept clean and tidy , more info when arriving would be good , as to how to use the hotel app , where everything is . Pointless being all inclusive here as the drinks / cocktails are poor , made with a machine and Lacking , price is 8 euro The resort it’s self is stunning , there is no night life as such , few shops , few restaurants , ideal for walkers , but not for families with children

Could not fault this hotel at all. Great location, great food in restaurant although only self service, helpful and friendly staff shout out to Sergio who was in charge of all the evening entertainment, he did a great job. Also shout out to Pilar on reception who was helpful when we were checking out. We would definitely be returning to this hotel again.

Just back from short break with my daughter, first all inclusive holiday together. Great points: The hotel is lovely, very clean, super friendly staff, good food and stunning location. The food/drink was plentiful, freshly cooked. We are both vegetarian and found enough choice for the few days we stayed. Rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean, appreciated the air con. Little *******: Would have loved a bottle of water and a kettle in the room. Maybe a larger vegetarian section in dining room, with meat alternatives. What can only be described as the icing on the cake for this hotel is the super welcoming Sergio and his team. What a guy, where does he get his energy from? He’s a genuinely nice chap (absolutely hilarious!) bought a bit of sparkle to our holiday. The team work so well together, they are a credit to the hotel. There was a minor incident during one of the evenings, his professionalism on handling the situation was exemplary. He definitely enhanced our holiday ☺️

Just had a wonderful week in the Alua Gran in Camp de Mar. The hotel is situated in a beautiful cove which is very quiet but has all the essential services you might want like a few bars and restaurants, supermarket, shops, doctors, chemist and a bus stop & taxi rank. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff are so helpful and work very hard to make sure guests have a great experience. There are plenty areas to sunbathe, beside the pool, under the shade of the trees, on the sea front terrace or the upper level adults only area. All are well maintained and cleaned everyday. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and cleaned daily. Most have a sea views but I did upgrade to all full sea view room so I also had a kettle in my room and "free" access to the sea front terrace sun bathing area (the fee is normally €5 per day for this area). I was half board but there were B&B and all-inclusive options available. There are 3 areas to eat in the restaurant, inside, outside on a terrace or completely outside. There were always plenty of tables and the lady called "Deysia" who looked after the outside area was so efficient and looked after all guests with kindness and always had a smile. The food at breakfast was good and plenty of variety. I was less impressed with the hot meals at dinner time. Salads, fruits, cheeses, breads and desserts were all fantastic and good quality but the main course hot meals seemed less appealing. I always found something nice to eat but this area could do with some improvement as I found the dishes very greasy and too salty and repetitive. I still give the overall experience of the hotel 5 stars and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a holiday in a great location. I hope to return again sometime soon. Well done to all staff at Alua Gran.

Great first experience in Spain. GOOD THINGS: Great hotel location, 1min walk to public beach with stunning views. Absolutely fantastic Entertainment Team with a lot of activities for kids. Kids enjoyed every moment spend in mini club with Entertainment Team members, playing games, dancing etc. Food was very good. Wide choice of meat, fish, cheese and fruits. Kids loved sweets/dessert corner. Good local vine and other alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Adult only area with sun loungers, bar and jacuzzi. Very friendly and helpful members of staff. Clean and well maintained rooms and overall facilities. NOT SUCH A GOOD THINGS: Occupying sun loungers next to the pool. I know it is always a thing that people don't like, but if you want to spend day next to the kids pool with your little ones, you have to occupy loungers from early morning to make sure you kids are supervised. If you are travelling with no kids, adult area is just perfect, don't even bother you will always get place in there.

Hotel beautiful. Clean and very friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately the food really let this hotel down . Not much choice and very mushy samey dishes . Also the food was not hot/warm at all . Greasy breakfast. Good if you like Salad everyday . Bar shut at 11 every night which was a bit early . Amazing sushi restaurant behind the beach for an alternative.

Upon arrival there was a slight wait to check in and then we had to wait an hour to get the room. Room was lovely (515) with excellent view. Bed super comfy and bathroom/shower excellent, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner in there. We were on bed and breakfast and the breakfasts were good with lots of choice, fried egg, scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms, toast etc and the usual cereal, yoghurt., fruit. (On day 5 we noticed we had been using the wrong milk and the full fat milk was tucked away on the other side of the restaurant!) We go to Camp de Mar twice yearly and always eat out in the lovely restaurants. On the second day we had to move rooms (due to quests in the room next door) but all went smoothly and reception were excellent. We did not use the indoor pool or spa bit paid €10 euros each for the towel which was refunded. My only down point was it is a non smoking hotel and every time my partner wanted a cigarette he went all the way outside of the hotel….. whilst passing people in the front downstairs outside part who were smoking. Lovely hotel in a gorgeous resort and would return!

We stayed here for 10 days, paid for a superior room with sea view and balcony and requested a high floor. Had room 757 and the view was absolutely spectacular. We booked half board plus. We found the hotel to be very clean, all staff friendly and go out of their way to help you if you need anything. The hotel is right next to the beach. All meals are canteen style self service buffet. The dining room gets very very busy and is incredibly noisy. There is no dining experience. We really struggled with this type of dining , both at breakfast and evening meal. We found the food repetitive. After 3 nights we decided we couldn’t tolerate it any longer and ate out at nearby restaurants every night after that, but that was our choice, and if All Inclusive canteen dining is what you want then you will no doubt be happy here ! The Hotel has an App, which we found useful for requesting housekeeping, if you want your bed sheets changing and your room cleaning you have to ask, otherwise you just get basic daily tidying up of your room which we found to be a bit hit and miss. We had a great holiday but we didn’t use hotel pool or attend evening entertainment so can’t comment on them.

I went with a friend ,the setting is stunning, the hotel is clean basic but comfortable. The staff are friendly. We went in April the pool freezing 🥶 not the hotels fault .entertainment was varied and ok .the restaurant did get really busy but if you want quite times go early morning or do late lunch ,late dinner. Wd visited the fish restaurant nearby.lovely not too expensive. A taxi to next town 7 euros a bit more going on pergola. All in all lovely setting, nice food ,hate people who complain where do they eat in England "the ritz".

We visited Alua camp de mar 10th-24th Oct. Arrived at hotel about 1 pm. Greeted by Katrin who was very friendly with a lovely smile. Although early our room was ready and we could go straight there. Our room was on the 5 th floor. On entering it was very clean and fairly modern with a fabulous view of the beach and sea. It did lack storage though with no drawers whatsoever. Lifts to the 5th floor were regular and never had to wait too long. We were on half board plus basis. This enabled us to have drinks with our evening meal. Choice of red rose and white wine, sangria beer or soft drinks. You could have as many drinks as you wanted. The food was generally good but there were some occasions where the dish just looked like bones with hardly any meat on and the bacon was just fat. There was always fish chicken or meat being cooked fresh and a carvery meat too. Always something to eat but my main problem was the food was often cold. I also noticed that the first week there were smoothies and toastiest at breakfast but these seemed to disappear the second week of our hols. The pool was on the small side. There was a tiny indoor pool as well. Entertainment was ok at night with some good acts. Daytime entertainment was a bit long winded. I’ve never known a game of bingo to last so long. Would recommend a taxi into Port Andraxt or Paguera. Taxi rank right outside the hotel. There are bus stops nearby but didn’t use them. Apparently they are cheaper to pay by card than cash. On the whole we had a great holiday. The hotel could be 5 star with some small changes.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 5 days at the end of October and from the minute we got there the service we received was excellent. We had a really early flight and got to the hotel around 11.30am. Check in is at 3pm. Our room was all ready and we checked in straight away. We had to pay a €10 deposit for pool towels (each) and a €20 deposit for our room safe. Our deposits were returned to us immediately when we checked out of the hotel. We stayed in a superior frontal sea view room (710) and we couldn’t fault it. It was spotlessly clean and had incredible views over the bay. The bathroom was also clean and the shower was really good. There is a decent enough sized TV in the bedroom however we found that the only English speaking channel was channel 4. Storage space is a bit limited in the rooms. There isn’t anywhere to store suitcases. We only stayed for 5 days so didn’t bring an awful lot of clothes so it wasn’t a problem for us. But if your staying for a week or more it may be something to bare in mind. Our room was cleaned daily and housekeeping did a really good job. The hotel has lots of sunbeds around the pool and the adult terrace. We never had a problem securing one. We only led up on the adult terrace. It was lovely and quiet and had its own bar, seating area and hot tub. (Wasn’t hot). There was a good selection of food in the restaurant. It’s as you’d expect for an all inclusive buffet. Yes it can be a bit repetitive but there is always something to eat and the hotel do a good job at catering to a variety of different nationalities. There was different entertainment each night. The entertainment team held mini discos for the kids and also quizzes each night before the entertainment acts come up in stage. It can get a bit busy In there so you need to be in there for about 8pm to get a seat. The beach is a minutes walk out of the hotel. A few shops and a restaurant. It’s easy enough to explore other parts of the island from this hotel. There is a taxi rank/ bus stop outside of the hotel. We got a taxi to Port andratx which cost around €10 euros and took approx 15 mins. Well worth the trip. Overall a really good stay. It’s really clean, modern and the staff are polite. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect mini break. 30 mins from Palma airport. 40 mins from landing, led on sun bed! Beautiful cove. Clean modern bedrooms. Restaurant perfectly adequate with choice of different food each day. Lovely to sit outside and eat meals. Lots of areas to sunbathe or sit.

We love this hotel. It’s our 2nd visit and we loved it so much again the 2nd year we already can’t wait for next year. Located on a bay with a few top restaurants within walking distance, shops & the beach. All inc option is good. Cocktails are good. We have the breakfast & lunch but go out for our evening meals as the restaurants nearby are exceptional. Brekkie & Lunch no complaints though. Outdoor pool is freezing but the beach is really close, indoor pool & spa are a nice touch. Last but not least the staff are amazing a real family with many working there for years & years. Special shout out to our fave Pilar on reception what a wonderful woman. Have a great season & see you all next year

After seeing a couple of negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, the resort in its self is very quite but there is a very good bus service nearby where you can easily travel to other nearby resorts. We had a superior room and the view was amazing ,probably one of the best we have had. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard and the food and drinks were all very good with plenty of choice, all the hotel staff were excellent and could not do enough for you overall a very good all inclusive hotel no doubt we will be returning again in the future

One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in,with such lovely views out over the bay. Rooms were very nice and clean, again with lovely views out at sea.Al the staff, were always smiley and attentive,a pleasure to deal with.Entertainment was a bit hit and miss, and the local alcoholic drinks were a bit weak to say the least, but you just get on with it.The animation team were a delight, always cheerful and happy, and that kind of rubs of with majority of the holiday makers. They always had time for a chat with everyone. The one thing we was'nt massively loving was the food, don't get me wrong, you always found something to eat, although it did end up being a bit repetitive .The salads, desserts and breads were so nice.Main meals were sometimes hard to digest, apart from the fish and chicken, other meats always seemed tough to eat. All in all,it was a lovely stay, and will definitely return to this very nice hotel.
