1/10 The room smelled bad, couldn't sleep at all, the water smelled of rust, the doors and windows were damaged. The entrance is very bad and dangerous. It's dark, but there are security guards watching out. The breakfast is very bad. The cups, plates, and bowls for food are dirty. The room is very expensive. It's a room that Trip found for them because Booked another school and it was full. So they compensated for the difference. Very disappointed.

I am loathed to write the following review, but feel compelled I need to do so. I arrived at this supposedly 4 Star hotel even the driver got lost bringing me to the place, as it was down a dingy road not very invited for a guest that travelled far. Initially a pleasant enough girl who claimed she could speak English greeted me, but over time I did not find that and she would often get confused. Well she showed me to my room up a flight of two stairs, by the way no elevator and such high steps, I am struggling with a suitcase and a bag. Got to the room did not like it, she suggested using another stairs, so I did and they were worse had very high steps not at all safe. In the end I transferred my room downstairs near the pool. Next day and subsequent days I went to the dining area, nothing was prepared for guests, fans not on, table not set with cutlery on it and some welcome. Incidentally my room and others had a very dark wood, my room had no TV (I told the owner and he said he would put in a TV but nothing happened, no phone by bedside. The bathroom was very small if one turned around you would walk into a glass panel. Then if you had a shower it would sometimes come to the wash hand basin. One night I did not want to go out so I asked for a simple meal consisting of boiled potatoes, fried egg and tomatoes. I was informed they do not do it inside the premises but outside. Actually I had to wait for the food it came from outside, my God it was awful never had so much awful food in my life. Another day I requested a massage and again I was informed it’s an outside service, so I got the massage, the girl was good. Then another day I asked for another massage, but when I was leaving I thought I had paid for it, well my God the receptionist was going around like someone possessed and I had genuinely forgot to pay. But again this is down to the fact they have noting on site. They had an old food brochure and the girl said was due to the sun I am in the print trade and I know that was done some time ago, the print had gone from the page. There was no receptionist the girl was just part time, nobody could speak English, yes the owner could but was hardly every there. No drinks or food was at the premises. No Cashier to change money and advice. I would also like to say I am a Coeliac but got no extra free service as I provided my own cereals and tea. I paid ¢30 per night but it was just worth ¢10 per night, in fact a guest house or home stay would be better I would like to say it’s the worse hotel I have ever stayed at in Cambodia

The hotel is in a strategic position for Angkor Wat, Pub street and the major attractions in Siem Reap. The host and his team were really friendly and open to give advices and directions, tuk tuk service Is a must to explore the city. The pool is a life saving after a day under the sun :)

Outstanding service, staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Rooms were exceptionally clean, contributing to a relaxing experience, For those who need a silent place and private and one more think breakfast and cocktail is very good.Highly recommended!

A great stay, staff was very accommodating. The owner is always around to see that everything runs smoothly. We got netflix and a comfortable bed, good air conditioning and a pool with breakfest included. We booked through agoda and we stayed for month. We got a gift as a souvenir on leaving. I felt that i could not get anything as good in the price range. Okun! Tor & Alina

My stay at the Reveal Angkor Hotel was a great one. The hotel is close to all that Siem Reap has to offer. A 10 minute walk to the centre. Only a 5 minute walk to the main road and bus station to/from Phnom Penh. The staff were extremely helpful and hard working, the cleaners had rooms and general communal areas spotless and the front desk staff were also very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The pool area is well maintained and equipped with plenty of loungers etc. Breakfast each morning was also very good and rooms were stocked with water, tea, coffee etc each day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Siem Reap.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet street. The garden and pool area are beautiful. And the room was great. But my highlight was the hospitality. They helped me with all my tours and made sure everything perfect.

We stayed on the ground floor (rooms 103 and 104). It was low season, and we only saw one other guest during our stay! Identical rooms with king-sized beds (quite hard, but fine for me). The rooms had an electric kettle, small fridge, TV (although I couldn't get any channels) and air-con. Basic, but comfortable. The pool is a decent size (although we didn't go in). Breakfast was cooked to order, although I suspect during high season it would be buffet style, and fresh fruit was also served. The staff were really nice and helpful, and there was a 'resident' Tuk Tuk driver, although using Grab was also very easy. The hotel is down a little laneway, so nice and quiet, but only 5 mins to town.

I intended to visit Siam Reap for 4 nights and stayed for 8 nights at total at the end. the reason was there is so much to see and do, and the Reveal Courtyard was most convenient base for me, starting from the free transfer from the airport to the hotel (which helps to the first-time visitors to Cambodia and certainly helped me a lot with no hassle to figure out local customs, to look for local currency on arrival etc.). The hotel has very convenient location, as is in very quiet area, yet only about 10 -15 minutes of walk from the city center, close also to the main road, which takes visitors to all the Angkor spaces. The room was comfortable starting from comfortable double bed, all the needed furniture (ample good wardrobes, coffee making corner, writing desk, TV desk and table, chairs, sofa, air-condition, shower, fridge, also safe box for valuables etc.) and was kept very clean with daily room service. The price included breakfast, which was very good (on the days of low hotel occupancy we were provided with personally made noodles, fried rice, eggs omelets or other in addition to the breads, vegetables, fruits, juice, coffee, tea and other, on the days of higher occupancy all the food was premade with many various Asian food options). The hotel has very nice swimming pool with sunbeds for those who like to relax during the day. There is also available hotel- tuktuk. Teng- the manager (and likely owner) of the hotel also provides help to arrange to get the visits of the Angkor area or tickets to the local performances (such as Phare Circus) which can save some little money because of discount purchasing the tickets via hotel (compared with direct purchase from the venues). Altogether, after I prebooked my first four nights and found that Siam reap and Angkor requires much more time to enjoy all what's to see there, I extended my stay by other two and other one and final one other day, enjoying 8 days staying at this hotel, feeling like staying at my comfortable home. Using the opportunity, I thank to Teng for running this business efficiently, effectively and making my stay there most convenient and comfortable.

First time visiting Cambodia and I am grateful I stayed at Reveal Angkor Hotel. I loved being within the local neighborhood and having the ability to walk among the locals. Teng is a wonderful host and she was a tremendous help! If you need a modestly priced, but a local setting hotel, do not look any further!

This was our second time staying at Reveal Angkor! And every time we come, we have such an amazing and peaceful experience! The hotel is tucked away, so you get peace and quiet. But a short few minute walk and you’re on the main road! They also have a TukTuk driver that is there at your disposal! Which makes heading into town or Pub Street very beneficial! You don’t have to hassle with other drivers! He will drop you off and pick you up! The rooms are so comfortable! And the showers have these huge shower heads! The beds are very comfortable! And each room we had, had an air conditioner! They have an on-site restaurant, that serves a great breakfast! And now they have an off-site restaurant, that serves local and western food! You can even have them deliver food from their restaurant to your room! 😭 They have cooking classes on-site! And a very welcoming pool! And booking your Angkor Wat experience with them, is always the highlight of our stay!
