First, thank you to Ctrip's hotel department for their excellent pre-sales service. They confirmed that the hotel would need to enter through the Silver Gate in the old city, which saved us the trouble of walking up stairs for those with luggage. The hotel room was bright and spacious, with a view of the cathedral from the window. Since there's no elevator, the hotel staff helped me with my elderly family's luggage both during check-in and check-out, which was very touching. Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's cooked on the spot according to the menu. Excellent service.
