The room is very big and the electrical appliances are Chinese brands! The beach is right at the door, so it's convenient to go out to the sea. The hotel has three swimming pools and the children had a lot of fun. It's very convenient to go to Stone Town, just a few steps away.

If you like the local style, this hotel is the best among the hotels and is highly recommended. Because it is right by the sea, there will be crows as your companions during the open breakfast. If you are afraid, just sit under the eaves!

The overall feeling is good, but the network is not good and it is a bit far from the swimming pool.

The bed sheets are too bad, they should be acrylic or chemical fiber, they are pilling. The hotel staff is very nice, the front desk efficiency needs to be improved, the hotel location is good, there are many hotels nearby, if you are not in a hurry, you can go to the nearby to find one. It is not worth the price, it can't be compared with the hotels in the north.

It happened to be living in the former residence of Queen's lead singer Freddie Mercury. It was really an amazing experience. The appearance of the hotel is good, but the internal facilities are average. The bed and pillows are not comfortable, and the breakfast taste is average. It is better than the good location and the experience of this wonderful celebrity's former residence.

We stayed for 3 nights recently, the staff is very nice and communicative, the hotel looks beautiful and has an interesting history, the rooms are also fine, the only thing I could complain about was the air conditioning that wasn’t working very well, but it didn’t bother us too much. Good breakfast with fresh fruits and amazing views! The location is 10/10.

What an absolute gem. The location, the staff, the food, the views. On arrival, fresh juice is offered. Reception staff are a delight and the boys who take over your luggage are just lovely. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet. Omelette station and coffee is good!. Open views to eat it 6 steps from the beach. We stayed in the B&B part, due to that being the only option when we booked. No lift which was a bit of a hike. Bur our stay over compensated for that. Minutes from everywhere so a great location. This is a dry hotel so no alcohol there.

Located right on a busy, beautiful beach. Very friendly and attentive staff. We were in the annex, so had to cross the street to breakfast at the main building. Breakfast was included and had many choices of food. There was no elevator and we were on the 4 th floor, so it was a workout a few times a day! The main guest manager, Farood, was awesome! Could not do enough for us. When our air conditioning and safe did not work, he got it fixed very quickly. Fadhil ( our guest host) was delightful. Greeting us every morning, and granting our every request. What a tremendous experience we had! Only downside is being approached constantly by vendors, taxidrivers etc looking for our business. Some fairly persistent. Beautiful, exotic place to go.

I had a good stay. The food was great and my dietary requirements were taken care of. The breakfast offerings were adequate. The pools are great, even the one at Tembo Palace. Just a small observation. The cold milk for cereals is not cold. They put half a jog of hot milk on it and add to the other half of the jug. This makes the milk literally water as milk is already almost 90% water. Why would you add half a jug of ice to make the milk cold instead of having the milk in the refrigerator? Later this afternoon the F&B Manager came up to me to generally enquire about the food. I told him everything was great except the milk issue. I explained to him the issue but he showed surprise and ignorance. He did not know milk is already mostly water. Then he went to say that they have been serving milk filled with ice and his guests like it🤷🏼‍♂️. It’s shocking that this hotel cannot get a simple thing right by serving cold milk. I also showed him the fact online. “Milk is approximately 87 percent water and 13 percent solids”.

We had dinner at Tambo, and our waiter, Salim Charies, truly made our night unforgettable! It was our friend's birthday, and he went above and beyond to make the celebration special with a thoughtful touch. His attention to detail and warm service really elevated the experience.
