In my opinion, DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya is included in the top 4 best hotels in Surabaya. Overall I had a pleasant experience while staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya. The hotel staffs are friendly, the room was comfortable, the amenities were complete, the breakfast was very delicious and the location is strategically located in the middle of the city. The only thing that makes it uncomfortable is the parking lot of the building which is located separately behind the hotel building, so to get to your vehicle, you have to walk quite a distance.

I got bad experiences stay at this hotel. I got rest disturbance by hotel's event at 19 jun on 6.00 am. So annoying and terrible noises sound system from the pool. My room at 15 floor. The pool at 4 floor. The hotel so noises with crowd people. Not ideal to staycation. I was not feel at marriot.

Have stayed on Earth several times before C-19, overall still quite satisfying. There is a slight decline in breakfast, some restaurants are closed (can't have Japanese dinner menus anymore), the gym is closed, and some hotel environments are a bit down. Things that are still good, such as service, fast check-in and check-out, easy payments. Oh yes, there was a problem yesterday, the problem with the air conditioner in the room that was not cold even though it had been set to the maximum. Overall the earth is still quite recommended.

I arrived in the evening, around 10pm. When I arrived at the drop off point, I was approached by an officer who offered to provide valet service because the parking lot was full, I would like to appreciate the officer for his initiative. The check-in process was smooth, the rooms are quite modern but the cleanliness must be improved, there are also stains in the bathroom. Overall, quite satisfying but not memorable at all.

This new hotel is located on heart of Surabaya city. The hotel is clean, comfort and the hotel staffs is really friendly and helpful. There's a lot of 24hours fastfood chain restaurants, street food vendors and convinience stores around the hotel. It takes only 5 minutes walk to TUNJUNGAN PLAZA (one of the biggest mall in Surabaya) The room is not so spacious but it clean and comfort. Luckily, I got room on 16th floor, so it has a beautiful cityscape of Surabaya too. The food was okey, breakfast buffet has a several choices of local food. And the restaurant looks modern and cozy enough. You will get a lot of smiles from the hotel staffs while you stay. And they very helpful too. And sure, I will be back to this hotel.

I got the key of the room but the room isnt yet served so im waited in front of my room. And than some guy give me antoher room with no view in my windows hahaha. The facilities really good because i got big discounts so its so cheaper for having 2 rooms with the big room. But i have to say sorry for the food because the food its not recommended for served in hotel. I would like to thank you for the great stay i had at your hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. I arrived around 12 p.m and i was greeted by a very friendly staff member. Mr.Asad (Receptionist Staff) was one of a very helpful, polite and fast to respond.What a very good job. The room was fantastic, it was great to be able to walk into a clean, spacious room and go straight to bed without worrying about a thing (Thankyou for the housekeeping team). Breakfast choice was fantastic. Recommend the traditonal foods. Will stay again for my business trip next time..cheers.

Actually i am business from surabaya last of 4 r 5 years and still stay in hotel pesonna which is near with Ampel as i am many time in surabaya for business purposes and long stay so i am stay always in hotel pesonna hotel is std super but all staff of pesonna is very friendly if u go for food side if u go to reception all is very friendly environment specially i am for got many names but nitha messy noor ul fadila april are very good and help ful and toomuch respect of me always as a good family member so thankyou guys of hotel pesonna again thankyou so much for ur good hospitility and good normal price per night and still i am feeling just i am in my home

I found this hotel to be great for a budget traveler like me. I booked it through agoda.com for a discounted price. I stayed two nights which was a good experience. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is strategic because I could get access to public transportation right in front and to food vendors when I was hungry. The facilities like lifts, toilets, etc in the hotel are excellent. Room's space is good and comfortable. The only non-positive comments from me are: no breakfast included because of the discounted price. I had to pay extra Rp50,000 for a small plate of fried rice and two slices of bread and a cup of coffee. I could get better offer with that 50,000 outside the hotel. Anyway, no big deal. I can further say that for one person only. I also saw women's hair underneath the bed. I guess they have not cleaned the room properly yet. Overall, the experience is good. I still recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Breakfast was very average, even poor, with no options. The room had no windows, but the area was quite large and soundproofed! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. The hotel does not have a gym, and the English at the front desk is okay. The advantage is that it is close to the Sogo Department Store of the shopping center, and it is no problem to eat and eat. A good option for business trips.

This hotel is only a few months old. The price was good, only $28US per night with breakfast included. The good thing about a new hotel is the comfortable new bed mattress, the clean linens and towels with no stains or smells, and no ants. The entire hotel had a clean and fresh feel. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel location is good, on the same street as JW Marriott about 650 meters away. There are no restaurants I found within a short walk, but many within a $2US Grab ride. The room door had a huge gap at the bottom allowing someone near floor level of the hall to see in the room quite well. My room had no minibar. The biggest negative is the internet. It dropped out a lot, and when it was there it was around the 1.6Mbps speed for me, so connecting to online meetings was impossible. I spent a lot of time begging the hotel to provide usable internet, but they never did. They did offer to get me more speed for an additional $7US per night, but I had no confidence I would get any more speed since they could not even provide anything close to the 30Mbps that Nanm of IT thought he provided. If good quality internet is important to you, avoid this hotel for now. If just a clean room at a good price is all you want, this hotel is an excellent choice.
