Love the interior and exterior of the hotel. Location smacks right in the middle of Shantang street, convenient! Hotel staff provided great hospitality too.

Central of Suzhou but my shower area have so much clogging up in the end I have a tiny lake in my room.

Location was great! They had breakfast which is good. The hotel is near the attractions which is very convenient but it would be difficult if you have a luggage where you need to walked past the crowd.

I love this hotel, it's exactly in the middle of Shantang Street, we just step out of the hotel into shops & restaurants. There's even a small bar where we unwind our day. Beautiful scene day & night. The hotel looked newly renovated, very comfy & nice. The only downside was our taxi could not stop in front of the hotel, so we had to walk quite a distance to the hotel with our luggages. But overall, it was a pleasant stay, would definitely come back if I come to Suzhou again.

The Good : Location is amazing, inside a bustling pedestrian street, entrance is inside a shop, a bit confusing at first The Bad : We arrived at noon but denied entry due to cleaning, we have no problem with this, as we can leave our luggage and stroll around, yet the next day when we left early in the morning and at 11.30 trying to get back to our room, our key is not functioning, apparently the hotel has a system to remove the access at earlier than check-out time. Our room is in the 2nd floor and located in the corner, so it takes quite a distance to reach to the receptionist to solve this. Upon arriving and asking the reason why we are locked, the young receptionist girl didn't even do the basic minimum thing in service industry for troubling the customer and saying sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Hotel staff has very good service mindset even they can speak little to none English, but we can communicate via translation app. They also offer free laundry service and even send us to the metro when we checked out. 5A rating!

The location is really amazing, right at the centre of tourist attraction but quiet enough. From morning to midnight, you can easily find eateries around, which is really nice and fun. The hotel itself comes with amazing view. Our whole family really really loves it. It's just that we didnt know we need to contact the hotel in advance to get the direction+ door password to get to the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient as we were searching around in the middle of the night, and reached to a password-locked door.

Location is not good, located in the middle of a very busy tourist street. There is a back door that avoids the tourist street though. However, it is difficult to hail a ride. You have to walk pretty far out to be able to hail a ride. Service is decent but cleanliness is not the best. Rooms are slightly dusty and have insects/webs on the walls.

Overall, i really enjoyed my holiday in suzhou, and if there's a chance I will book back the same hotel. But the concierge lady I think they can improve more on their services they don't seem that friendly. As per the review I saw from trip.com

Awesome hotel with local authentic decor. Nice room design and high quality furniture. However breakfast is definitely served late (passed 7:00 am) still not ready. Front desk staff was still asleep past 7:00 am. We woke up because needs to catch early train schedule.
