I am very happy to have the opportunity to share my experience and evaluation. The B&B is located on Xishan Island, with a quiet and comfortable environment. This B&B has a superior geographical location, convenient transportation, and is very close to the attractions I visited. As soon as I entered the B&B, I was attracted by its unique decoration style. The room was decorated both warmly and comfortably, which fully reflected the taste and care of the owner.
I was very satisfied with the accommodation experience in the B&B this time and was deeply impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to my friends and family. Here, I give a high evaluation and recommendation for this B&B!

Facilities: The facilities are well equipped. Although the restaurant downstairs is a large private room, the price is affordable and the amount of dishes is OK. If I don't order seafood, 10 of me will be less than 800 yuan.

The twin room booked on Ctrip was upgraded to a family suite for free when checking in. There are two beds, one large and one small, which is very comfortable to sleep with a baby. There is a Lohas Center on the first floor below ground, billiards, board games, table tennis, game hall, chess and cards. There is a children's activity area in the lobby and an indoor heated swimming pool. The children play together and are very happy. The breakfast is great, with a wide variety of food, delicious soup noodles, fresh ingredients, and timely replenishment of Western pastries, especially the strawberry pudding, which the children like very much. The hotel is in a prime location, very close to Suzhou Pingjiang Road and Xishan Dongshan Scenic Area. It is very nice to drive or ride along Huantaihu Avenue. Two movie tickets were also given when checking in during the Spring Festival. After visiting the attractions, watch a movie, the cost-effectiveness is super high. There are also many takeaways nearby, so you don't have to worry about supper at night. The hotel has robots delivering goods, which is very convenient. A souvenir was also given when checking out, a box of small cookies, deliciousđ.

Excellent value for the price. We had a suite which was big and clean. The staff was friendly and offered me an extra breakfast voucher for my son. Although we didnât try them, there were a couple good looking Korean restaurants on the ground floor. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Times Square and a 7-minute walk from my favorite Vietnamese restaurant.

The location is not in a busy area, but the subway is quite convenient, just right for Line 2 and Line 4. The bed is very comfortable, the room is large, clean and sanitary, with complete facilities, snacks are given upon check-in, and the view from the high floors is very good. We went to breakfast late, so some things were not complete, so we should have eaten earlier.

I originally booked two nights elsewhere with a friend, but suddenly I came across this very cost-effective lake view B&B and decided to change my reservation.
To highlight the point, look at p2. This building is right next to the lake. The location and angle are perfect. But when you come in, you have to follow the road leading to the thousand-year-old tree and go around. On the way, you also met the bossâs breasts. Standing there The fence is decorated with stone lions, which are really cute and can be touched freely.
The cloudy days started to clear up here. The blue sky and white clouds and ancient trees are unique to this island. I didnât expect much from the original weather. It was an unexpected surprise. In the end, I even photographed the sunset. , it looks better to the human eye, but cannot be captured with a mobile phone.
There is a parking lot next to the B&B. It just happened to be vacant. The housekeeper said that parking is free in the marked parking spaces. The window glass of this hotel is quite thick, so you can hardly hear the sound from outside.

A very pleasant stay especially the smooth front desk check-in which is warm and friendly from its staff with a special mention to the guest relation manager who provided personalised service. The room is spacious with almost all what you need except an espresso machine which I was expecting in a W hotel but not there. Loved the roof top pool and gym.

I didn't plan a spontaneous trip. I wanted to go out and relax. I chose a designer homestay in Sanshan Island - Humengji. It was unexpectedly beautiful! Greek-style white minimalist architecture, coconut trees, and the swimming pool are so holiday-like! You can see white clouds in the room through the large floor-to-ceiling windows âïž blue sky and swimming pool. The beautiful scenery is in full view. In the afternoon, I arranged a floating afternoon tea âïž Don't be too comfortable. Any photo you take is a blockbuster đ·. You can also watch a movie by the pool at night. It's extremely romantic to have a glass of red wine đ·. â±ïž Island guide: đ Drive to Changqi Wharf and park your car in the parking lot. đą Take a cruise to the island, it will take about 20 minutes! Round trip đ40. đ€ You can also choose to take a speedboat as you go. It is recommended that you stay here for two days and enjoy the slow life on the island quietly.

The first time I traveled to Xishan Island, the room had an excellent view. When I woke up in the morning, the curtains were opened to the gentle Taihu Lake, which made people feel refreshed.
The boss is particularly enthusiastic to give various travel guidance, and will pick his own dates for us to eat! The jujube tree in the yard added a little coolness to the hot afternoon. As an authentic Northeast person, I feel unprecedented hospitality.
Thank you to the old gentleman for inviting us to visit the tea garden before leaving, and also sending us our own dates and tea!
In Taihu Lake, in the Xishan, we will come back to see the most beautiful sunrise and sunset in Taihu Lake. I wish the old man a smooth life.

JJairoOur experience at this hotel could not have been betterâit was truly beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in a historic house with sophisticated decor that exudes charm and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to please us, attending to every detail with care.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious afternoon tea, featuring a homemade tiramisu that was absolutely delightful. The staff is well-prepared to receive foreign guests; Miss Yang, in particular, speaks excellent English and is very kind.
Overall, we strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and exceptional stay in Zhouzhuang.

GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that weâre staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though youâre inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak thereâs an international summit going on here.
Somehow that wonât speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because theyâre always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, âNÇ hÇo Marshaâ from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of Chinaâs ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldnât have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you canât just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when theyâre cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

TTuscany RoseI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me.
The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs.
Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful.
Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy.
As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels.
In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

GGuest UserI felt that the Spring Festival was not over yet, so I brought my family to Tongli Lake Hotel, which was on my wish list, to relax again. It is very convenient to come from Shanghai. It takes only half an hour to get there by taxi from Suzhou South Station. The hotel service is very good. The deluxe suite was upgraded for free, and the children were super happy. The swimming pool also has a special children's pool, and the water temperature of the children's pool is a little higher. The housekeeper Yu Ting is very considerate, and she informs you of various play information in a timely manner, and responds quickly to the services you need. There are also fruits, milk, small biscuits, footbaths, footbath powder, and bathtub bags. These services are beyond expectations. There are also many amusement facilities, some of which are a little old and small, but they are enough for children to play (suitable for little ones). Older children can also make handicrafts, which are charged but not expensive. It would be perfect if the weather was warm, and I would invite friends to come when the weather is good!

GGuest UserPros: Very good location for walking around Pingjiang road. Very handy Suzhou train station pick up service, would recommend utilising for anyone arriving by train. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable.
Cons: bathroom had a bad smell emanating from it. There was quite a lot of construction happening while we were there, started around 7am and didnât finish until after midnight. Would recommend bringing ear buds. Shower pressure was ok but not amazing. There is also no elevator so you will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the rooms which are all on the first floor.

I was so surprised with the garden, such a delightful space with seating. Bed was very comfortable, free mini bar on the first day, and a stylish bathroom with bath tub. Breakfast was sufficient. The front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful in booking my boat trip, also thanks to Peter who was very courteous. Location is excellent, metro is a few metres away, and there is a new shopping village with some lovely western restaurants plus lots of stylish bars. The gardens are also nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

Many lovely photo spots and complimentary try on of the hanfu was a bonus!
The staff were polite and helpful. Even helped us to reheat one of our packed food and taught us how ti use the washer/dryer.
Room temperature was nice and comfortable too.
Only two complains were that the bathtub was very badly maintained and we didnât dare to use it as there were mould. And the most shocking thing was on the second last day, I decided to let my toddler juggle from the cup provided. The water turned really murky and disgusting. I thought it was the cup issue. Changed another cup and tried again and the water really turned colour into soapy water right after! See attached. Hotel, please look into the water quality⊠tried the water at other hotels but have never encountered this before..

Qqueen_kooIf youâre looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me.
1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite âscratchyâ material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who arenât afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they donât have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesnât go too loud , I guess itâs good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants.
2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind!
3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , Iâm quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to surviveâŠI really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isnât exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed.
Thereâs a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and itâs obviousâŠI hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause itâs not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!!
Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists.
I donât usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them.
Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but itâs the people that pushed it up.

AAnonymous UserEnvironment: In the business district, there is also a convenience store downstairs. It is very convenient to buy things. You need to swipe your card in the elevator to reach the floor. Safety is also guaranteed.
Service: Just contact the hotel when checking in. They are very responsible and enthusiastic.
Facilities: They are all complete and the room space is large
