This homestay is highly recommended. I went through the reviews of all the homestays in Xishan Island scenic spot on Ctrip, and finally chose his home, which did not disappoint us. The homestay is very clean and tidy. There is no need to worry about hygiene issues. More importantly, the design is very distinctive, a bit of Mediterranean style. The beautiful proprietress is a designer, both of which are designed by husband and wife. They are simple but not simple. The rooms are stylish and beautiful. Small courtyard, pleasant balcony, barbecue, dinner, afternoon tea, it’s really awesome.
The homestay owner and the proprietress are also very warm and generous, handsome and beautiful, and the temperament are people who have a lot of story experience, and they are also friends and guests. The dishes taste good and the price is affordable. It just so happens that when I eat a shuttle crab, his family has a limited number of shuttle crabs with different tastes every day. Advantages:
1. There is an indoor playground. It is quite large and located between buildings. Although it is a little cold. There are handicraft classes
2. The service attitude of the staff is very good. 3. The food is very appetizing
4. The billiard room, KTV movie theater and other entertainment facilities are relatively complete. The surrounding environment is good, and there are also several attractions
5. The sound insulation is average, but we did not encounter very noisy guests, and we slept well at night.
Disadvantages:
1. The room facilities are average, it feels like a renovation, and the bathroom door handle fell off. The hygiene is 3.5 stars. The TV cannot be projected, it is cable TV

民宿在景區內，離停車場也不遠，酒店位置沒的說，去哪兒都方便，到了停車場后聯繫了老闆來接。定的這個露台房，逛完古鎮后，可以一邊泡澡一邊看投影，很愜意。看的出來民宿老闆比較用心，還配備了一次性泡澡袋，還有沐浴露和洗髮水都是日本的牌子，這比一些大酒店都用的都好啊，還發現他們家蓮蓬頭有噴霧模式，這個感覺還是挺特別的。房間還有冰箱剛好這兩天有點熱，買了飲料冰起來泡澡的時候喝。對了，樓下的餐廳裏的咖啡機也是自助的，配的是星巴克的咖啡豆，對於早晨喜歡來一杯咖啡的我很合適。總之是一次不錯的體驗……有機會還會來住。

The facilities software is very good, hair dryer, room projection screen, indoor environment is very good.
Breakfast, it is better not to divide Chinese and Western styles, breakfast does not include coffee a cup of American money. There are no eggs in Chinese style, and there is not even a little grain. It is better to have a bowl of noodles for one person.
In the room, the sink is not suitable for ladies to use, skin care products can not be put down. The shower did not separate dry and wet. Take a shower and get wet everywhere. This bedside plug is too far away, the curtains are not shaded, and it is very bright at four or five in the morning. Maybe the boss is a young man who pursues good-looking things high-end but has no basis for the needs of ordinary guests.
The outdoor environment is really bad, but this can't blame the homestay because the homestay is built everywhere, and there is a lot of garbage in the decoration. This is an external factor.
It is worth happy that the homestay is pet friendly and the staff is very loving for pets.

But the hotel parking lot security guard (it seems not the hotel security hotel) has a bad attitude, we forgot to ask, the hotel front desk did not tell us to scan the code to leave the parking lot, and then the security guard called to ask how to get out of the parking lot, the security guard came up and said ”which exit to take what exit”, and said ”I don't know how you get out, ask the hotel to scan the code”, we asked which code to scan, and said ”you ask the hotel, how do I know what code to scan to get out”, haha, it's the first time to go out, I definitely don't know, of course I have to ask, so we owe him the same attitude, and then when we went out, we got a puncture, and we went to fix the tire again, which is really a waste of time. The first time I bring a dog out, I must find a pet-friendly and large lawn homestay. Xugusu fully meets expectations, and also includes a beautiful first-line lake view, so that Doubao spent a pleasant weekend. The hotel is in a good location, walking distance from espire bookstore and new Times Square. The room is very good but I had some issues with the air conditioner and the fridge that weren’t working for the first night, which caused my family a significant amount of stress due to our baby’s food storage and sleep (the room got so hot that no one was able to sleep. The The reception however is very friendly and was really supportive. They fixed the problem on the second day of our stay! The breakfast is very simple, no western options but is super cheap, so still worth it. Overall a good place！

Hotel is relatively new and absolutely love the room. Downside to it was the staff gave me a room which was on the other wing. Had to climb up and down a flight of steps to get to the main elevator. The steps were not luggage friendly at all. Had to make two trips up and down the steps to carry my heavy luggages. 15mins walk to guanqian street for shopping and food. There’s also lots of restaurants around the hotel. Train station is also just beside the hotel. Down side: there’s no proper drop off/pick up area. Also, the hotel lost one of my delivery packages. I hope they will have a better process on receiving/delivering delivery packages moving forward. Since it’s nearby the famous attractions, be prepared to wait in the jam as the roads are only two way streets. Taking the train is your best alternative.

Everything in the room is so exquisite, from furniture to decoration, it gives people a strong sense of simplicity. In addition, the service of the B&B is also very thoughtful, and the staff are very warm and friendly, making people feel at home. Staying here for a night is really unforgettable. After arriving at the hotel, the lady at the front desk was very nice and upgraded the room type for free. Later, the housekeeper lady would also care and remind me from time to time.
It slightly makes up for the regret of not being able to swim.
The hotel is about 15 minutes away from Tongli. No tickets are required in Tongli after 17:00, but there are no shops open after 17:00. It takes about 30 minutes by car to Suzhou city
The hotel environment is quite good. The indoor and outdoor amusement park in the second phase is free. The ones in the resort are outsourced and charge a fee. There is table tennis but only one table. There is a fee for billiards but there is only one table.
The hotel has small animals for feeding, including white geese, squirrels, chickens, pigeons, ducks, and dogs.

RRobsterNot knowing Suzhou at all, I thought I had chosen a hotel to suit my needs for exploring the history whilst still being near the modern. This hotel is ideal for both. With a metro station (line 3) Shajinqiao, within a 10 minute walk, literally, just round the corner, and a taxi ride to either end of where I wanted to be costing me under 30RMB, this was an absolute gem of a find.
On arrival, the staff were very good and extremely helpful. I was checked in without any fuss, with the usual pandemic checks, travel codes, health codes and I showed both 48hr and 24hr covid tests.
The room was cosy, with excellent air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed and very clean. The toilet was intelligent, electronic and quite a novelty. It even warmed my posterior whilst sitting on it!
The hotel provides a kettle and 2 free bottles of water daily though there may at one time have been a mini fridge, it was not there on this visit. Breakfast is served at reasonable times with the last orders being done 10:30am. (11 am at weekends). It is a decent spread, predominantly Chinese food, rice, vegetables, meats with cooked-to-order eggs, porridge (Chinese rice style) and a cold buffet. There are delicious pastries, toast and fruit. Tea and coffee are available along with a varied selection of fruit juices. The restaurant is airy, bright and clean. Plenty of seating is available.
Room lighting was bright and cheerful but could be set to 'mood' which dimmed and made for a more intimate atmosphere.
On Didi App, the hotel does not come under Atour Hotel. You will need to search for Yi He Cha Can Yin Guan Li You Xian Gong Si.
At the time of writing, Suzhou was low risk. However, the recommendation was for Suzhou citizens not to travel and if they had to, to show a 48hr covid test. I had a bit of trouble with getting the app to work and thanks very much, eternal gratitude, to the wonderfully patient and supportive reception staff who all contributed, made phone calls and tried their best to get the app to work. Eventually, we succeeded. That is service and that was fantastic.
Highly recommend this hotel.

In the evening, you can go to Pingjiang Road to eat snacks and watch the night view. If the road conditions are extremely congested, make travel plans in advance. The hotel gave me a small gift when I checked in🎁The bed was very comfortable and there was coffee and tea in the front lobby. 2 bottles of mineral water were given as a gift when checking out, thank you to the beautiful woman at the front desk🌹

The main thing is that the waiters are very pleasant. A very good leisure parent-child hotel. Every waiter I met was very good, such as Wang Chuang and Xiao Hou. I felt that the guests were the most important. It is highly recommended for a two-day and one-night stay near Shanghai.

The staff were so helpful, kind and willing to communicate in English to the best of their ability. They made plenty of gestures with bowls of fruit, fragrant sacks and even a personal delivery of the food menu when we couldn't find the English menu on the TV. Their frequent arrivals had us jumping in our robes to grab the door every so often, but each time we were grateful to receive such thoughtful snacks and smells. Lovely place. Would visit again.

Qqueen_kooIf you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me.
1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants.
2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind!
3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed.
There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!!
Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists.
I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them.
Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

GGuest UserReally beautiful place. It looks to be brand new - maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it certainly looks new. The room (a suite) was very spacious, very clean. Just a very beautiful place that fit well with the surroundings. The whole building was impeccably clean.
I rated the service 5/5 because the owners were very nice, and largely left us alone. The family was processing tea and were quite busy - check-in was extremely quick, check-out too. I'm not looking for hospitality, so being left alone suited us fine - this isn't a criticism at all! The rooms don't really come with much extra (tea, coffee etc.), just a couple of bottles of water, so best to know that before you book if you usually expect this, but we didn't so we were fine with it.
You can buy really good tea from them (maybe we timed it well as we arrived at the peak tea-picking time). The owners were very kind and let us try some, and it's really good tea - we ended up buying some.
Food was pretty good, but again they were quite busy and have specific times that food is available, and no menu, so best to check ahead with them (again, really taking into account that they were super busy processing tea when we were there). Absolutely not a problem as there are so many great restaurants around too.
TV in the room had VOD but without VIP, so if you're looking to watch movies or anything best to bring your own (including HDMI cable as our TV didn't have one).
Location excellent. Space for maybe 4 cars to park, right next to a small hill, very close to the pick-up point for the sightseeing bus to take you up to Xishan, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, B+Bs etc. so if you like coffee, there's a shop just down the road. Very beautiful surroundings - you will be shocked that you're so close to Suzhou as there's absolutely no evidence that you're anywhere near a city!
All in all, really enjoyable. Amazing price for a suite (around Y500 per night) and one of the better homestay-style places we've stayed in. Highly recommended.
