The Tango Hotel Taipei Nanshi Reviews

Tango Nanshi has consistently been my preferred hotel choice whenever I visit Taiwan. Located in the vibrant Zhongshan area, it offers an unbeatable location surrounded by numerous eateries and cafes both in front and behind the hotel. Additionally, having a metro station conveniently situated directly beneath the hotel, serving two train lines, adds to its accessibility. One of the most important reason why I always chose Tango is undoubtedly the comfort of their beds, providing a restful night's sleep each time. Moreover, the inclusion of access to Netflix and Prime on their TV adds an extra level of convenience and entertainment during downtime. Overall, my experience at Tango Nanshi has always been exceptional, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

Very accessible just 2 min walk from Zhongshan metro. Hotel staff are very friendly and they top up the daily bottled drinks, coffee tea packets, and fridge items regularly even if we never use them. Room is tidy and clean as well, recommended for future stay

The staff is friendly and nice. The room has a bathtub with jacuzzi mode. The toilet is like japanese style toilet with automation.

Front desk: The service staff have no smiles at all and have a bad attitude. There is no sense of welcome at all, as if you are not welcome to stay. When I stayed at other branches before, the front desk staff would greet you when you walked in, but there was no such thing here. They treated you like a transparent person.  Room: The mold in the bathroom is very serious and a bit disgusting. The air conditioner tank is also unclean. (As shown in the picture) The carpet feels like it has a lot of bites and is not very clean.  Other people who want to live in this branch, please note: I don’t know if every room is the same. The bathroom door is made of transparent glass + frosted glass. (See the picture) It is completely unsuitable for bringing children, colleagues, and friends to stay together. , because when you go to the toilet inside, you are wiping your butt and taking off your clothes, which will be clearly visible to your companion sitting on the bed. Room: The bathroom had severe mold, which was quite disgusting. The air conditioning vent was also not clean. For others who considering staying at this branch, please note: I'm not sure if every room is the same, but the bathroom door is made of transparent glass and frosted glass. (See picture) It is not suitable for staying with children, colleagues, or friends because when you're inside using the toilet, wiping yourself, or changing clothes, everything is clearly visible to your companions sitting on the bed.

After looking at more than 20 hotels with information and reviews on trip.com, I finally chose Tange Nanxi Hotel. First of all, the location is very convenient. As soon as you go up the stairs from Exit 3 of Zhongshan Jiewei, you will be in front of the hotel 20 steps away. If you have luggage, it is recommended to use the elevator at Exit 4 to get up and down. It is also very convenient. In addition, you can walk to Taipei Main Station from the underground shopping mall, and you can also walk to Ningxia Night Market. The journey takes about ten minutes. As for breakfast, I was very lucky to see a Japanese traveler introduce it on YouTube before booking a room. Even if he stayed for two nights, he ordered breakfast. For a hotel with only a few dozen rooms, the breakfast options are abundant and all kinds are available. Meal time is from 7:00-10:30, and food will still be replenished at 10:00, and some dishes will be changed every day. Even parents in their 70s believe that good taste means good appetite. It is worth mentioning that both the elderly and children are very satisfied with the jacuzzi and TV in the bathroom. Next time I come to Taipei, I won’t have to work hard to find a hotel🙌🏼

This is the second time I have stayed at a Tange Group hotel in the past six months. This time the room is relatively spacious compared to a four-star hotel in Beijing. The bathtub also has a massage function, and there is a TV to watch while taking a bath. Hygiene was not up to par. The reason was that there was a peculiar smell on the bedside table on the right side of the bed, which had stuck to the hotel carpet. The hotel counter also showed that it was full that night. It was estimated that room change service could not be performed. I checked out the next day and did not report to the counter. The front desk said that they could respond immediately and the hotel might be able to provide air purifiers to help remove odors. The above experience is provided as a reference for travelers who will stay at Tange Group in the future.

It was a very clean hotel. There were also people who could speak Japanese, which was very helpful. There was also a depar**ent store nearby, which was great. It was convenient and close to the station.

It's very close to the subway station, and the sanitation is very good, but the check-in time is a bit late (16:00), and there aren't many convenience stores nearby, but overall it's very good!

Typical business hotel. The room is not big, but clean, no It is also enough to live, because I am on a business trip to Taipei, and I am basically not in the hotel during the day. No swimming pool, no gym. The breakfast is on the first floor. It starts at 7.30 in the morning. There are not many choices but it is enough. It is also quite good to have a different breakfast every day. There are natto, cheese, soy milk, juice, and milk in the refrigerator in the breakfast room. The tea, 4 bottles of water, and snacks in the room are all free and will be replenished every day. The refrigerator in the room has 3 bottles of soda every day, which are also free, and will be replenished after drinking.

The location is very good, right next to Nakayama Station. There is also a bathtub and a bathroom TV so you can relax. Snacks, tea leaves, tea bags, coffee, three small canned drinks, and water were always available, and the amenities were plentiful. It's spacious enough if you're staying alone. I would like to use it again.
