The room is very small. If you go out late at night, the cleaning lady will knock on the door and say that she needs to be cleaned. In addition, the room I live in faces the street. After noon, there are people singing and playing violin. I just happened to have a cold this time. , it’s a bit difficult to take a good rest, but it’s OK after 12 o’clock at night, so if you want to stay, it’s better to go to bed early and wake up early.

I have traveled so many times, and this is the first time I stayed in a room with mosquitoes. I never had them when I stayed on the mountain or next to trees before, but I didn’t expect them to be found in the city. I was bitten awake by mosquitoes on two nights of my four-night stay. I reported it to the front desk. But they said that the guest room was full and they couldn't change rooms. They gave me a mosquito swatter...but I couldn't find the mosquitoes. Then they gave me a mosquito coil, but it didn't work either. The room I booked was also different from the picture. The area was one-third smaller. The bathroom next to the bed had a smell. There won't be a next time.

An excellent hotel in the most picturesque part of Taipei. Dear aunties cleaned every day and provided a normal hairdryer without any problems. Every day we walked around in such a way that even the lack of windows didn’t bother us.

Downstairs is Ximending, surrounded by many souvenir shops and restaurants. The location is very convenient. It takes about 3-5 minutes to walk to the MRT station. Suitable for tourists who like convenience. Before leaving, there was a car-hailing service, so we didn’t leave until the last minute😬

Location is really good and convenient. But maybe the room we chose is too small (standard double without window). And the design of the room is not very friendly. There is a small steps to go into the bathroom, but because it’s too high, we kept kicking on the steps accidentally, until I hurt my toes and bleed. We booked 2 units of the same type of room. But the room assigned to me has no hanger and place to hang our clothes/ towel. Even inside the bathroom also, there’s no hook to let you hang your towel and clothe that you need to change. And the door of the bathroom can see through, so it’s not convenient if you are sharing room with your friend.

I'm quite sensitive to cleanliness, so it was nice to feel clean! The location was great too!

To go to the Ximending business district, you only need to cross the street. The room is large. You can easily open the 2 small and 1 large suitcases. There is plenty of hot water. The lady at the front desk and the cleaning lady are very enthusiastic and will remind you of the outside temperature. The only drawback is my room. The sound insulation is very poor, and the sound of unpacking in the room next to me can be heard clearly, but my friend is not worried if he lives in another room on the same floor.

It feels like living in a loft. If someone is tall, it will feel oppressive. The Ximending business district is just downstairs, which is very convenient.
