Stayed there as part of a longer trip. Suite tirano is a well designed converted apar**ent. Check in and key collection is at the Bernina Hotel a street across, 2min walk and also a 2 min walk to the train station and Bernina Express. We stayed in the new York suite which was lovely. All in room facilities, fridge, mini bar, toiletries, slippers, dressing gown. Clean and comfortable room... Visited the Moroccan suite but still preferred the New York one. Restaurants downstairs easily accessible and shopping centre opposite. Car park charged at 10eur per 24hours and is within the property.

Perfect location for what was needed for a 1 night stay before heading to Lake Como Arrived In Tirano after an amazing experience on The Bernina Express Design Suites was perfect We stayed in The Kenya Room Very spacious Clean Amazing views and for 10€ we had buffet breakfast at Hotel Bernina belonging to the same company. Friendly staff and welcoming

As other travellers have commented, you have to check in at the main hotel building, but this was only across the street. At check-in, one of the hotel staff walked me across and showed how to access my room. He was very pleasant. It was a very safe building with key card access.
My suite was the Japanese suite. It was very comfortable and clean. Perfect for one night stay before taking the Bernina Express the next morning. I was able to get breakfast and check out well in time for the first train.

It is listed as hotel but google search does not show it. Had to check in at different place a real hotel. Then one man took us to a dingy, dark flat named Kenya. With thin dirty looking curtains and also hanging fabric on four poster bed that was only making it look shabby. Even first bottle of water was chargeable! Shower cubicle quickly filled with water and we had to have shower standing in a pool of water! For a suite it did not have a microwave or cooking equipment, no plates, no face tissues. For the price, awful even if it was free!

It was right by the Bernina Express train station. Nice and big room. Design suite with large bathroom. Restaurants in walking distance. Staff was friendly. Loved it.

Check in isn’t on site, staff was nice, room had no ac, fridge didn’t work, area felt unsafe so we left after 10 minutes of getting in the room- and stayed at a different hotel down the road.

Egypt room, excellent location to reach the Bernina train, 3 minutes on foot, Bernina hotel staff who manage it are very attentive and helpful, everything is very clean, warm and welcoming, convenient and fenced parking
