Room 226 (King Wave Room) This hotel looks fancy and the rooms look very tasteful in photos. So we were a bit taken aback when we saw how worn the room was. The colours are still nice – just very worn. Some of the furnishings were simply too worn to be acceptable. The minibar/fridge literally fell apart when we opened it. We pointed this out and got a replacement fridge the next day which was also worn, albeit a little bit better. The bathroom door locked itself from the inside because it touched against the shower wall so we had to keep the bathroom door open to stop it from happening. The room itself was spacious and the balcony super. We were very lucky with the location of the room – on the second floor and directly overlooking the pool and sea. So this was a very big plus. The staff were all very friendly – another big plus. The location in Unawatuna is a bit removed from the worst hustle and bustle and thus a bit quieter. The hotel put on loud outdoor music one of the evenings and we felt like complaining as we wanted to go to bed around 10 PM (for an early start the next morning), but they did stop the music at 10:30 – I suppose that's OK for most people but not everyone likes the loud boom-boom but prefers peace and quiet. On the whole, we had an OK experience – we enjoyed the balcony and the views and the friendly staff. But the room and furnishings were unfortunately too worn for more than a 3-star rating.

We spent three days at the end of December 2023 in this hotel in Galle. The location is stunning and the room was very comfortable. The kitchen was excellent and the pools were great. All the staff were kind, caring, and helpful. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and other amenities nearby. We highly recommend it !!! :))

Very friendly and professional staff, nice pool and location. Rooms are spatious and pretty. Tuktuk service free of charge to the beach. We really enjoyed out stay and would absolutely recommend it. Breakfast is great and the restaurant too.

Beautiful property with a fantastic view of the sea. Great service spacious and lovely rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the magnificent view. Srilankan breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed hoppers with sambol, chicken and fish curries.

A wonderful place with a wonderful view. The staff was really helpful, professional and flexible.They served us with delicious food. Special thanks to Mr.Prasad for his excellent customer service. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who looks to spend the vacation with a perfect sea view.

The view from the hotel is fabulous…the food was realy good and the room was very comfy … the view from the pool was very relaxing and had a very relaxing pleasent staff…perfect place for a vacation in unawatuna.. and specialy to mension Mr.mahinda made our stay here much more fabulous by providing a customized care and made us love this place even more😃 cannot wait to come back again.

The picturesque surroundings, clean cozy rooms and sensational food made for a delightful stay. Special kudos the talented chef who whipped up culinary delights, and to Jerald De Silver for his outstanding customer service and warm personality. Tharunga also deserves a shoutout for running the restaurant and bar superbly with attentive service. I definitely will return this amazing resort.

Absolutely mesmerizing! The moment I stepped into this hotel, I was greeted by the breathtaking view of the sea from my room. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. From check-in to check-out, their hospitality was impeccable. The facilities were nothing short of excellent, with well-maintained amenities and a variety of options for relaxation and recreation. Can't wait to come back for another unforgettable experience!

Wonderful experience in this hotel where you can see stunning sunset everyday at the pool. Breakfast is nice and with a lot of choice (Sri Lankan and Continental), staff is so very careful and kind… Wifi is good enough to work remote if needed. Massages relieved all our stress away and yoga class made us mastered the practice ! Thank you to all the team, we will tell all our relatives to come !

This place is fantastic! The views were breathtaking and the room was very spacious. The interior design was beautiful and I loved the ocean colours. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned everyday. The buffet breakfast had a variety of food and was very good. The two swimming pools have great ocean views and are kids friendly. All staff were super helpful and nice. I also had an Ayurvedic facial done which was really good! Highly recommended :)

The staff are very friendly. The accommodation is nice and atmosphere relaxed. We enjoyed our stay. The staff are very good with children. There's a small gym upstairs which has enough to get by with. There was building work so they upgraded us to a better room which was nice to escape the noise.

Lovely hotel in Unawatuna overlooking the ocean - very convenient to get to the main shops and restaurants / bars. Staff were so friendly and accommodating ! I really love this hotel and make my stay so luxury. I will come back with my family and stay longer. Highly recommend.
