Average at best: this hotel is highly rated but I’ve no idea why. WiFi is terrible, used bathroom towels from the floor were folded and hung back up in our room and they have no umbrellas for guests. Staff are very friendly but the place needs a full refurbishment. It’s clearly 2 different hotels cobbled together badly. Nice sunsets were the best thing

Great service and location. Dining on the beach was memorable. The pool is large and you can swim a lot. There are some issues with the water.

For an Asian country, it's a clean, good hotel. The room is spacious, the bed linen is fresh, the view from the window is stunning. The staff is polite and helpful. I'm happy.

Хороший отель, прекрасный вид из окна! Минус, что нет собственного пляжа. Обслуживание отличное. Завтраки не ломятся от разнообразия, но все вкусно, можно найти что-то по вкусу. В номере чисто, убирают каждый день. Не хватило больших полотенец в душе, почему-то выдают только маленькие.

Delicious food, friendly staff &pool view is amazing. Rooms are clear , well organized & have big space . Reasonable for price .

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel so special. Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy, and set the perfect romantic atmosphere with stunning views. The food was excellent with plenty of variety, Every detail, from cleanliness to service, was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. This hotel gave us the perfect blend of romance, relaxation, and luxury. Highly recommended for honeymooners!

The hotel rooms were very spacious with lovely comfy queen sized beds. Our rooms looked out over the ocean and crashing waves, which was fabulous. It was a short stroll to Unawatuna beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants and gorgeous beach. The staff were truly fabulous and could not have done enough for us. Breakfast was delicious with a fantastic selection. Vegetable curry was the best. We also had lunch there. There were just a few things that meant I didn't rate 5 star. The floors and the balcony floor in particular were slippery. Some steps around the hotel and by the pool were not obvious, which we all noticed. Just some tape highlighting the edges would be helpful to prevent accidents. And a little TLC around the pool area with loose decking secured and a lick of paint. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This is a really poor hotel for the money and no way is it 5 star. The location is ok as plenty restaurants a short walk away but its not at the beach and is around a 10 min walk to the nearest one. Staff are really nice and friendly. Rooms are ok, look very nice but could do with a little tlc- eg tilting shelves in the bathroom and leaking rusted fridge. Toiletries are cheap snd nasty in terrible plastic bottles and extras like shower caps are few and never replenished. The shower is really good though. There are no bathrobes or slippers which is not a big deal but it is if you are branding yourself as 5 star hotel. Wifi is poor except for in the lobby. Housekeeping is erratic, one day our dirty towels from the floor were simply hung back up still dirty and wet. Wasn’t difficult to spot as housekeeper hadn’t come in the room until 4pm and we came in just as he left. He was very sheepish when I went after him asking for clean towels. This became the norm and we realised they have no housekeeping trollies and don’t replace the towels. Pools are big, nice and clean but surrounding areas are very run down, broken decking, broken fences, shabby sun loungers and very few parasols. Pool areas would look so much better if they would just tidy them and place the sun loungers. The breakfast was good with a big and varied selection and good coffee. Items are continually filled up and servers clear up quickly. There is entertainment on several nights but it’s so loud it will burst your eardrums and we could still hear it blaring in our 2nd floor room with the doors closed after 11pm. It rained a few times during our stay but the hotel couldn’t give us an umbrella- said they were all being used. After complaining I eventually got one the next day and kept it for the duration of my stay as they were so scarce. With the exception of the really friendly staff we did not enjoy our stay here and would have left earlier had we not prepaid.

Excellent property - great staff and a lovely view of the ocean! Food was great too. Would recommend to all travelers - the approach road has a host of eating joints

Our stay has been great. We had some ups and downs during our stay due to sickness, but the staff went above and beyond to help us everywhere they could. Special mention to Mahinda and Lahiru for the help and also nice interaction with out daughter. Also a special thanks to Subadhra, who not only did a fantastic job keeping our rooms clean during our illness, but once again making us and our daughter feel at ease and welcome. The only real negative was the very salty poolwater, that made our swimwear smell really bad too. Could be people's sweat! It seems like the pool could use some more cleaning.
