On the whole there's is little to moan about, the place is clean and the staff friendly. The pool area is welcoming and it's handy for taxi pick ups. Our room was spacious and appropriately decorated. However the price for the breakfast buffet is nothing short of rediculous.

Clean , very friendly staff. Peaceful good location. Food fresh, but dinner needs more variety of foods.Maybe more umbrellas, around the clean pool, or tables to eat outside. Music needs to be replaced , with local music. Kenny G is for the 80’s! Stunning view from rooftop, that no one knows about. Make use of it- serve music and Sundowners there🍸

A good hotel, clean and well kept. Furnishings are a bit dated, could use a refresher. Cordial service and relatively close to the city, although we didn’t walk there. The hotel has a view to its inside garden. From the roof you can see the mist of the distant Falls and hear their low roar… makes you want to get to the falls sooner!

A lovely comfortable, welcoming place to stay. Well located for all numerous local attractions. Rooms are comfortable. For me a proper freestanding shower would have been better than the rather narrow steep sided bath with overhead shower head. But that is my personal preference. The room quality could not be faulted

Food was good service was great!

Stayed here one night last night. The hotel ground with pools are well maintained. The room is nicely decorated with AC, mini fridge and a romantic mosquito net for decoration as there were no mosquitos at all. January is low season so the town has very few visitors but all the shops and business are open. It’s like we are having the whole hotel to ourselves. There are always breezes under any shade. The bathroom is adequately sized and decorate. It took us less than 10 minute casual walk to get to Chicken Inn which is in a small food court. We have a pleasant experience here and will stay here again.

Booked for Margaret moyo from 23 -26 Dec..from booking Engen was just great ..my granny had an amazing experience..warm staff and super kind..she had a birthday on the 25th of Dec and a Chef called Sipha was just awesome..she presented her with a cake and brought other staff to sing and celebrate her birthday on the 25th of December 2023. Am told every morning they did massage and some staff prayed with them..what an wow experience they had.. great hotel ..keep it up .l will plan to come down and Rainbow is the hotel of choice

We were welcomed with friendly staff and welcome refreshing drinks on arrival. The food is great but the breakfast menu can use some more variety. The rooms were average, the bar, needs some entertainment like good music when the pool is busy. The booking desk for activities by the reception is very helpful and the complimentary shuttle is very much appreciated, we would walk to town and to the falls and use it to come back if the kids were tired. The property could do with a few modern renovations but overall I had a good stay, friendly staff and good food.

Average overall service, Staff needs more training and product knowledge as Vic Falls is a Tourist destination. Hotel is situated in a very good area, walking distance to town. Make your guests feel special and important. he hotel lacked that.

Beware of this hotel!!! They are trying to rip me off. I booked a 4 night stay for early November and paid a $504 deposit for the room and breakfast, my plans changed so I had to cancel. I cancelled before the 30 day deadline to get 100% of my deposit back. It has been over 3 weeks and still have not received my $504 back. I kept getting e-mails saying the refund was " in process" but never received anything. I had to open up a dispute with my credit card company to try to get my deposit back.

The location of the hotel is very good and convenient to walk around in the little town. Our room was big and spacious but the furniture is quite old and basic. The room didn’t have any international plug in ports so it was a struggle to get my devices and equipment powered up.You might want to come up with your own adapters. The bathroom was clean but it’s a little small, kind of feels crowded. I didn’t get a change for meals but I’m sure I would have loved their pool menu.

Better than expected, the room is not very new, but it is not as bad as expected, and the price is very reasonable. The room is not big, and two large chairs block the balcony door, making it necessary to turn sideways to enter and exit the balcony. Not a big problem. The bathroom is spacious, but the bathtub has to be climbed in and out, and it leaks easily. There is no hair dryer and the bath water is not big. I didn't have breakfast, but I guess the basics are there. There is a free shuttle bus in the town that can go to the entrance of Waterfall Park. You can also contact a taxi yourself or call one from the hotel. . They still want to charge me 6 dollars, even though the market price is 5 dollars. The hotel pick-up fee was NT$30, and later I found a driver myself for NT$25. And the hotel bill must be checked clearly. I obviously only booked airport pick-up, but the taxi bill charged me 60, which is quite shameful!
