The hotel and restaurant are well maintained, and have all the necessary conveniences. Our standard room (10) was small and had the bed against the window which made it difficult to sleep with an open window. The bathroom was clean and modern. There is no elevator in the building so carrying luggage up the narrow steps could be a challenge for some guests. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Dinner options in the restaurant were great too, with regional and seasonal dishes. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay here again

We stayed here just one night. However was impressed with the specification of the room and very nice en-suite. We had dinner in the restaurant which (while the menu is not huge) the service from the staff and the food itself was excellent! The room is big enough, the en-suite is very new looking and immaculate! We found the bed to be comfortable ( exception would be the pillows are much too soft for my liking) The staff and waiting staff are excellent & very friendly indeed! We would gladly stay again if near this area. 😎

The hotel is nicely located, the room is nice with a nice new bathroom. Breakfast is extensive (unfortunately the machine coffee is not special). What stands out is the hospitality of the owner. Upon arrival it is nice to receive a warm welcome, but here only a registration form was shoved under your nose. You will then be addressed via instructions to a new employee. We are asked what time we would like to have dinner, but after the answer (“7 o'clock, half past seven”) this is actually not the intention (so late). Then make a reservation at 7:00 PM, but due to unexpected crowds, the food arrives at 8:10 PM. The burgers are blackened, apparently I'm stressing the kitchen. The local st. Martinus wine is very tasty! The young service staff is very friendly, as is the lady at breakfast. When we leave, the owner is staring at her phone and can't wait a day. Too bad, all the ingredients are present for a top stay, now just some authentic cordiality from the owner.

Room was clean, nice new bathroom. Room was quite small and very noisy. Above restaurant which could be clearly heard. Fortunately it was quiet in time so that we had no problems at night. Upstairs neighbors can also be heard clearly due to the creaky wooden floor. Nice location with good breakfast and dinner,

Nice room, bathroom was completely new. The view was great, it was very quiet in the evening and night, even though we had the balcony door ajar. From the hotel we took beautiful walks to Vijlerbos and panting deer. Excellent base for going to Valkenburg, Maastricht or Aachen. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very extensive and you can also eat well in the evening, but make a reservation, it fills up quickly (good sign! There is no charging station in the parking lot, but there are 2 within walking distance.

Nice location, friendly staff, good beds and extra pillows, new bathroom. Layers on the valley side, very quiet outside. Window could be opened. Delicious. Excellent breakfast buffet. Will definitely come back!

Pleasant hotel, centrally located. Noise is very dependent on which room you have. Room 1 is above the kitchen and you could sometimes smell that and it was on the lowest floor, so with wooden floors it was sometimes a bit noisy. Room 14 was not very spacious but everything was clean and available. Really didn't miss anything.

Nice, cozy hotel with an excellent restaurant. Good quality/price ratio. Fantastic location a short distance from Aachen and Valkenburg. We were here in November. Don't know what it's like in the summer. Breakfast is also good.
