You could easily spend a comfortable and peaceful day just relaxing in the courtyard with a cup of tea, without even needing to visit the sights. The cleanliness standards are on par with a five-star hotel, and they thoughtfully provide two types of slippers. The service is very attentive; they offer shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and are both welcoming and discreet. The front desk lady was especially kind, giving detailed directions.

This guesthouse is located right inside Hongcun Scenic Area, super close to famous spots like Moon Pond and South Lake – just a three to five-minute walk. It's really convenient to get back after watching the fish lanterns at night. The paths within Hongcun can be a bit tricky, so it's a good idea to call the front desk when you arrive; they can help with luggage transfer. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious, and the three beds were perfect for the three of us. It also had a private courtyard with a table, creating a lovely, ancient-style ambiance, complete with many small decorations perfect for photos. The guesthouse offers Hanfu and Qipao for guests to try on and even provides umbrellas. The auntie at the front desk and the uncle who helped with our bags were incredibly kind. We accidentally left something behind when we checked out, and they went out of their way to bring it back to us.

Its location is absolutely superb, within walking distance of all the popular photo spots, making it super easy to plan your sightseeing. The courtyard is elegant and spotless, and the guest rooms are even cleaner and tidier. The attention to detail in cleanliness is truly impressive; there's no clutter or stains anywhere. It's an old house conversion that beautifully preserves its ancient charm while maintaining excellent living standards. My stay here was a perfect experience!

Very good location in Hongcun. Practically behind the Moon pond. The room is modern & clean. Floor heating works well. It takes a bit of time to fill up the massive bath tub (due to electric heating), but it's a heaven sent feature to soak after a long day of walking, especially in winter. The host is friendly & responsive. For price, quality, & comfort, we think it's perfect

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable that I fell asleep the moment I hit the pillow. The bathroom was also completely odor-free. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was lightning fast, and they even thoughtfully recommended some fun places to visit nearby. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all nutritious and delicious. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

The overall atmosphere is very peaceful, not at all like being in a busy scenic area – it’s a wonderful place to slow down and truly rest. The room overlooks a small courtyard filled with flowers and plants, absolutely beautiful and vibrant with spring life. Just a few steps from the back exit, you can reach Moon Pond and the old alleys, making it super convenient for exploring and dining, with a lovely local vibe. The owners are also very warm and welcoming, recommending delicious food and sightseeing routes, and even giving out small gifts. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hongcun!

Every corner is meticulously designed and maintained. The guesthouse boasts a prime location, just a short walk from the south gate, making it incredibly convenient. Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests. This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended! By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

This guesthouse is absolutely, incredibly, amazingly wonderful!!!! First, I have to praise the owner. He's such a great guy. He called us beforehand to ask when we'd arrive, then picked us up in his 'sanbengzi' (a three-wheeled vehicle – extra experience points!). He helped us with our luggage. The next day, I wasn't feeling well and just wanted to extend for two hours to rest, but the owner immediately told us not to worry and just to stay as long as we needed. When we left, his aunt helped with our bags, and he arranged a car for us. We were in such a rush that I dropped something, and he even mailed it back to me… In short, the service was exceptional!! ❤️ Next time, I hope to bring my family and stay for a few more days. The environment is also incredibly good! The courtyard is uniquely designed, like a mini classical garden, full of ancient charm. The room was very clean, and there's even a meditation area. I tried to imitate Liu Yifei's meditation pose, and I felt refreshed afterward, haha~ Hongcun is truly beautiful, and the people here are so warm and friendly. It's a shame we were short on time, but I look forward to coming back again!
