Although it's not super close to the main area, you get lots of peace and tranquility in exchange. If you plan to walk to the hotel from the train station, be prepared for a hike uphill. The private bath outside our room was the highlight. The hot springs water is a continuous flow to maintain the temperature at all times, but they also added a cold water tap in case you need to adjust the water temperature. The room and bathroom were extremely spacious. Our breakfast and dinner were included and were eaten in private rooms in the main building. Both meals were delicious.

The hotel room is great and the private onsen is nice. The hotel staff is friendly. However, we wanted to borrow the umbrella after check out for few hours when it was raining. It is not allowed as the staff mentioned it’s for internal use only.

THIS HOTEL ONLY HAVE TEN VILLAS, AND PRIVATE ONSEN. ITS VERY RELAX AND CHILL. DINNER AND BREAKFAST ARE EAT AT RESTAURAN, IT ALSO HAVE A ROOM FOR DINNING. STAFFS ARE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. I JUST STAY A NIGHT AT HERE, BUT THIS HOTEL WILL BE MY LIST WHEN I TRAVEL AGAIN

The hotel has a quiet environment and has independent private open-air and indoor hot springs, which is perfect for enjoying a slow life during a holiday in Li. The staff are friendly and attentive. If you want to go to the town, either ask the front desk to call a taxi for you, or walk. There are ups and downs on the walk, and you have to walk to the JR station to take a taxi. I regret choosing this hotel for two nights at Yufuin Onsen. The level of hygiene is beyond imagination. I found a centipede as soon as I entered the room. There were varying degrees of dirt all around the room. There was moss in the toilet area. The room was also damaged to some extent. The most outrageous thing was that part of the outdoor wooden fence was broken in the middle. You can look directly into the outdoor hot spring pool through the broken position. The pool water is general geothermal water, nothing special. In the end, the waiter was really speechless. We checked in with our suitcases, and then took us into the room through 4-5 stairs and then up and down the slopes, but the waiter didn't intend to help at all. Then we found that we entered through the main entrance. There is a slope on the other side, so you can move up the stairs without washing them. Problems such as room damage were also immediately reported to the front desk. Originally, they would be rectified, but in the end, they were not rectified. There will be no room service on the 2nd day, and there will be no replenishment of consumables. You have to call the front desk to pick them up. The point is, breakfast and dinner are very casual. The food is not at the same level as a normal hotel, not even an ordinary restaurant. I ordered a cup of soju Mizukari on the first night.
