Beautiful resort and pool area! Amazing Food!! And good prices! The staff are amazing and the snorkeling adventure to Apo island was the highlight of our trip! The boat crew were so helpful and accommodating as it was our first time going. The snorkel guide showed us turtles and starfishes, and was so patient with our 8 year old daughter. We also went snorkeling just in front of the resort and saw our first Turtle! 🥰 The worst part is going to be leaving!! Highly recommend. We had a week booked and after being here a couple hours we ran to front desk and booked another week! Love from Canada 🇨🇦

Petit hôtel en face de Apo island. Très beau jardin avec la piscine. Très bon petit déjeuner avec des jus de fruits faits sur place à la place des boissons chimiques servies habituellement dans d’autres hôtels. Les tarifs sont plus élevés qu’ailleurs pour une même catégorie d’hôtel : chambre, restaurant, transferts, excursions. Et comme l’hôtel est isolé, il n’y a pas vraiment d’alternative autour. Nous sommes partis avec l’hôtel pour faire du snorkeling à Apo island et l’équipe de plongeurs est super sympa et enthousiaste

I would like to commend this resort. The manager is very friendly, and we were accommodated for a day use without any hesitation. The kids enjoyed the pool, and what truly appreciate most is the equal treatment given to all guests. Wishing more blessings to this lovely resort.

We spent nine nights at Thalatta during early July, and it was a lovely place to stay and relax. A really chilled place with lovely staff who were attentive and happy to help at the drop of a hat. The rooms are comfortable and wifi connectivity strong (through starlink). The pool is a decent size and we enjoyed a massage (extra cost) during our stay. It's very reasonably priced for the quality of place and the gardens are beautifully kept. We swam/snorkelled in the sea just in front of thee resort where we saw turtles and plenty of tropical fish. A trip to Apo island was awesome too.

I recommend it, but not on weekends or holidays. As soon as a Filipino family shows up, the peace and quiet is over. Too bad, it's the same everywhere. Very nice location, Very clean area, very friendly staff very good food only the atmosphere is disturbed by crying children.

Although we are not staying at Thalatta Resort, we are renting an apartment very close by and have regularly enjoyed breakfast and evening meals from their restaurant. Without exception, the food has been delicious, the staff helpful & friendly, and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have such a quality restaurant close by.

This is a resort with a big heart. We loved the beautiful and quiet grounds, the friendly staff, the comfortable rooms with great views, and the extensive food and drinks menu that never failed to please. Oh, and it has a great pool and WiFi too. On the Wednesday morning of our stay we walked three minutes along the beach to the colourful Malatapay market.

This is a perfect location and place if you enjoy diving. Just outside the hotel is one of the best diving locations on the island so very practical and short distance to reach . Its is also the closest location to apo island rated amongst the top 10 diving locations in the world. Was there 27 Nov and an unforgettable experience. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff and divemasters

Magnificent pool, quiet, view of Apo Island. Average rooms but good bedding. Very professional restaurant and everything is good, especially the curry. The only downside is that I asked for a medium for the shiatsu/Swedish massage, soft would have been fine 😂

Very nice discovery of this haven of peace by the ocean. Top team on land as well as on and underwater for the diving activity. Of course there isn't really a beach but the swimming pool more than makes up for it. The hotel is located at the end of a street, in absolute calm, ideal for recharging your batteries! Flawless organization to welcome our group of 30 divers in the best conditions. I recommend +++

Reasonably sized structure and personalized welcome. The team is efficient and smiling, very attentive. The rooms are large, clean and have a nice terrace. The restaurant offers quality dishes. Diving wise, very well organized, dive master Marvin top. Very rich Apo island sites. To be recommended for the quality of the services and the impeccable welcome. Almost like home… I will come back with pleasure. Thank you Patrick, Cédric, Marvin and the whole team.

Great welcome, we were pampered by Cédric, the hotel manager and also a diving instructor. We spent our open water and our advanced with him. We had a fantastic week. Cédric is a great enthusiast and super professional. We felt confident straight away and had some incredible dives. A must, the debriefing after each dive to write down what we saw. Cédric is also a great photographer and sent us all the photos of the dives! The room was great and the food was very good. And all the staff are adorable! If you want to discover diving, we absolutely recommend Cédric!

Dream stay in the Philippines during the "low" season. Destination, location, accommodation, catering, scuba diving...only happiness! Low season first, low season for prices surely and for attendance, for the rest... A little rain but like everywhere, typhoons pass to the north. The location: south of Dauin, therefore less busy and so well placed opposite Apo Islands. Accommodation: A hotel with 16 rooms, most of them in the form of bungalows surrounding a real swimming pool (large, deep), located on the seafront facing Apo Islands. A restaurant facing the sea, a diving center on site. The bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of storage space, as does the bathroom. A mini bar, a lounge on the terrace under the coconut trees. A word about the restaurant delivering high-end cuisine with local products that will delight the most demanding. Scuba diving: for macro enthusiasts firstly, the proximity of Dauin and the house reef obliges (1500 photos), but also for lovers of coral plateaus or turtles where Apo and his little 1/ 4 hours by boat is required. The facilities are not to be outdone, designed by a diver for divers. Everything is thought of, from rinsing tanks to individual dryers. Never seen such an outcome. This overview wouldn't be complete if I didn't talk about the staff. Filipino quality welcome first, with a real smile, from the simple gardener to the owner, including the hotel management and the boat crew. Conclusion we love the low season in the Philippines, so never 2 without 3. See you in 2024.
