| Real Stay Feedback from Ordinary Travelers. Last weekend, I discovered a very down-to-earth hotel in Xichang city, located in a residential area on Sanchakou East Road. As an ordinary traveler, I stayed for two nights. Here are my actual feelings: Living Experience Ramblings The room was more spacious than I expected, and I especially liked the small balcony. In the morning, I could see dried radish on the roof of the building opposite, and in the evening, I could sit in the wicker chair and hear the hawkers downstairs packing up. The mattress was of medium firmness (I later saw the label and realized it was a well-known brand), and I, who am usually a light sleeper, actually slept through the night. Surrounding Exploration Diary Leaving from the back door of the hotel and walking for ten minutes along the old street lined with plane trees, you will come across a steaming soy milk and fried dough stick stall. I tested walking to the north gate of Qionghai Wetland, which took about 25 minutes. Along the way, you can also pass by a local farmers market. The biggest surprise was the unnamed noodle restaurant down two alleys, where the owner's homemade pickled radish was especially refreshing.
