Although there are many rooms and guests, the service is unparalleled so you don’t experience long queues anywhere. There is a museum in the hotel compound if you are bored!"

"The furniture is a bit dated and worn out but it has a million dollar view of Sakurajima. I had planned to stay only for one night on my way elsewhere but after seeing the view from my balcony, I immediately booked another night and the next day, the staff were very accommodating to allow me to stay in the same room without checking out and checking back in later. "This was my first trip to Kagoshima, Kyushu, and your hotel's setting was absolutely stunning, offering distant views of Sakurajima volcano. The hot springs within the hotel also have excellent water quality, especially the open-air bath where you can gaze at Sakurajima. If the weather is good, you can even catch the sunrise around 5:30 AM, truly experiencing the majestic power of nature! The hotel's buffet breakfast lived up to its reputation and was definitely worth the price! Plus, there's a free shuttle bus service daily from Kagoshima-Chuo Station to the hotel. All in all, it's a high-quality hotel well worth staying at for anyone visiting Kagoshima."

"The hotel's location is excellent; you can reach it via an underground passage directly from Kagoshima-Chuo Station. It might be a bit tricky to find the first time, but you can also use the pedestrian bridge above ground. The hotel breakfast features many local specialties, highly recommended! There are convenience stores, Don Quijote, and various restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. I was also happy to see Sakurajima from my room! The only downside was that the room was quite dusty. I'm not sure if it was due to inadequate cleaning or if it's a common issue in Kagoshima itself. Also, there wasn't much in terms of service; both check-in and check-out were self-service."

"The service was excellent. I think it was the owner who personally picked us up at the station and provided a detailed hotel guide. Since I couldn't speak Chinese, I used a translator. The hotel map was especially clear, like a contact map. The public baths are located by the stream, allowing you to soak and enjoy the sounds of the water. The only problem was that the time limit was too short, only half an hour. The room amenities were a bit dated, a common problem in Japan."

"We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend it to all travellers! We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down. Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find. Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!"

"This hotel is super convenient, right inside Kagoshima-Chuo Station! You just exit the改札 (ticket gate) and it's a 60-second walk. Plus, it's next to a mall, so shopping and dining are a breeze. The front desk staff were very patient and helpful, and they offer luggage storage. Stepping outside, you're right at a bus and tram stop, making it easy to get anywhere. I loved Kagoshima, especially the food – unforgettable! I'll definitely be back."

"The hotel staff are very friendly and they also provide airport pick-up and drop-off services! But if you come to Amami and don’t have a car, it’s really inconvenient to travel. But you can ask the hotel to help you book a sightseeing taxi. Everyone should try to avoid the rainy season in June. It rains every day, but we were lucky enough to have a sunny day. The hotel has a lawn to watch the starry sky, which is so beautiful!"
