Algonquin Provincial Park

#canadatrip Algonquin is a paddler's dream, featuring over 2,400 lakes and 1,200 kilometers of canoe routes. We did a three-day backcountry trip, portaging our gear between calm, silent lakes. While the portages (carrying the canoe and gear) were tough work, the reward was complete solitude and pristine wilderness camping. Waking up to the sound of a loon calling across the misty water is a truly magical, classic Canadian experience. It's a challenging but deeply rewarding way to escape the crowds and see the real heart of the park. Essential for serious outdoor enthusiasts!
