I had a chance to visit the Rumah Kelahiran Mahathir Mohammad in Alor Setar and it is definitely one of the must visit spots in Kedah. It is a traditional Malay architecture house built on stilts, nipah palm leaf roofing, wooden plank flooring and a verandah and is said to be from the 1900.
