A must see museum in Baoding

It was my 4th business trip to Baoding, and finally I got a free weekend to visit this beautiful historical site: Museum of Zhili Governor’s Office in Baoding. Zhili province is a very important province in Qing dynasty, which includes current Hebei + part of Inner Mongolia + Tianjin + Peking, with its capital city in Baoding. Therefore the Zhili governor ranked No.1 among all the governors across the whole country. More importantly Zhili Province takes the role of protecting Peking and the central government, when there is a war or rebellion. The museum presents tremendous exhibitions to introduce the Chinese government system in the past thousand years of history, which is a big highlight!#历史古迹 #localguides #博物馆
