Bergenhus Fortress

#wheretogo I like to see historical castles and fortresses. Thus, whenever I am overseas, I will try to look for them. I got the chance again recently when I was in Bergen Norway. The Fortress I got to see was called Bergenhus Fortress. It's located near Bryggen. The castle is one of the oldest and best preserved stone fortifications in Norway, with it being built in 1240s and opened in 1514. It was raining at the time of my visit and added some emotions to me.
