The newly completed Jiaozi Pedestrian Bridge has become a park attraction, which is not unique in Chengdu, as exemplified by the Anshun Covered Bridge, Jiuyan Bridge, and Wuchazi Bridge. Jiaozi Pedestrian Bridge, also known as Lotus Bridge, is a bridge that connects the eastern and western areas of Jiaozi Park in Chengdu. The design team drew inspiration from lotus leaves, designing the bridge to resemble 9 lotus leaves floating on the Jinjiang River. The Jiaozi Pedestrian Bridge starts from the western area of Jiaozi Park, successively spanning over Ke Hua South Road, Jinjiang River, and Guohua Street, and directly connecting the eastern and western areas of Jiaozi Park. The total length is 496 meters, with the main bridge spanning the Jinjiang River. It features a special steel structure with a longitudinal and transverse beam system, with a span of 116 meters. The widest part of the bridge deck reaches 83.5 meters, and the total steel structure of the bridge exceeds 8000 tons, with a deck projection area of over 10,000 square meters. Strolling here in the early morning, bathed in the morning glow, one beautiful scene after another leaps into the camera. This place is bound to become a new internet-famous spot in Chengdu.
