Fengsheng Ancient Town: A town nestled against the mountains where one can step into three counties

🕙Queueing: It is estimated that parking spaces might be a bit tight during peak season, and considering it is located at the foot of a mountain, it is recommended to visit during off-peak hours or on weekdays✅. 🌿Environment: The entire ancient town is not very large and can be quickly toured. When I visited, there were not many people, which made the ancient town seem even more tranquil👍. Additionally, the town is situated at the base of a mountain, and one can distinctly feel the cool breeze from the mountain😮. Some areas of the ancient town are likely maintained in their original state, while the outer areas have mostly been modernized. 🏛General Layout of the Ancient Town: It seems that the ancient town has multiple entrances; I entered from the north parking lot. The periphery of the ancient town has mostly turned into ordinary village buildings, but with a strong sense of layering. Since the entire town is located at the foot of a mountain, there is a sense of a staggered mountain city👍. Moving further in, one can enter the old city area. The buildings in the old city area are probably preserved in their old style, and the bluestone roads are quite wide. Due to the town's unique geographical location, close to Banan, Fuling, and Nanchuan, this place has become a hub for commerce and trade, even hosting markets from other regions. The entire ancient town is quite square, but the signage within the town is not very clear and could be improved😂. 🏞Overall Impression: I had heard about Fengsheng Ancient Town a long time ago, and this visit was just a stopover. Overall, it was a good experience, somewhat reminiscent of the charm of Zouma Ancient Town, and it is worth a brief visit✅. 🚗Location and Transportation: It is recommended to drive there. However, parking might be difficult during the peak season.
