Paris, France | Memoirs of the Flowing Paris

When I first arrived in Paris, I ran from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre to the Arc de Triomphe and all the way to Versailles, following the typical tourist route like every first-time visitor to Paris. The itinerary was packed and rushed, and I couldn't remember what every street looked like, couldn't remember every painting on the walls of the Louvre, couldn't remember any French words other than "bonjour" and "merci," and couldn't even remember the names of the restaurants I had been to. But what I always remember are the hurried pedestrians in the frame, the laughter of friends around me, the summer night breeze by the Seine River, and the surprise of tasting the limited edition yuzu-flavored PH macarons. It is the sunset glow reflected on the water surface of the Dule Temple Garden.
