Just got back from Pingtan! Here's your guide to a Special Forces one-day tour punch card! 📒||• The sunny Pingtan is so beautiful it makes you cry! Remember, it's only on sunny days! Snap away! Just slap on a film filter and it's yyds!!! As a Fuzhou local, I really love the summer in Pingtan, where most of the beautiful beach and sea views are free of charge, it's all about finding the right spot! This time, the trip to Pingtan to punch the 'Special Forces' one-day tour felt like shooting a blockbuster abroad, including some niche 🏖 beach spots. From travel to accommodation to food, this article has got you covered! • Lately, Pingtan has been experiencing windy weather, with fast-changing cloud layers! It can go from cloudy to clear skies in just 1 hour, so pick the right time to go, and the sky and sea will be blue! Avoid peak crowds: 8:00am-10:00am there's hardly anyone, snap away! • I only stayed in Pingtan for one night and started writing as soon as I got back! If there's anything unclear, just ask! • 🚗 About travel: 1⃣️ Take a high-speed train to Pingtan Station (Xiamen, Quanzhou, Putian, Fuzhou, Ningde are all convenient to depart from) 2⃣️ Self-drive (more convenient, go wherever you want) • Worthy photo spots: ✅ Guocai Village S Bay (When the weather is good, it's really beautiful and fairy-tale like! 📍 'Yutang Branch Line', with a telephoto lens you can take big pictures of the castle and windmills! Stand high and shoot with your phone!) ✅ Northern Ecological Corridor F3 Viewing Platform (Just 500 meters near S Bay, there are two picture frames that make it look like you're in a painting! So beautiful it makes you cry 😭, and there are windmills and sea around 🌊) ✅ Fengtian Village (Down the slope from F3 Viewing Platform, there's a beach with hardly anyone and a large number of windmills, take advantage of the sparse crowd and go for it) ✅ Qisha'ao (There are thousands of jelly seas, and the sand is so fine, not many people, sitting under the shade of trees for a picnic is also very comfortable, atmosphere 💯) ✅ Tannan Bay (Enter from the parking lot entrance and keep walking to the left, the further you go the fewer people there are, the colorful umbrellas look just like California!!!) • 🍔 About food: This time I packed an American burger from MUA for a picnic, both the taste and the presentation are on point, perfect for families with kids or couples on a trip, a burger with some snacks, eating by the beach, feels just like California! Besides, there are also some very characteristic and inexpensive local snacks in Pingtan • 🏠 About accommodation: This time I chose to stay at the Wild Cloud Path in Matui Village, mainly because you can go sea foraging right at the door of the B&B, and this was one of the main reasons why this trip to Pingtan was so great. The service was excellent, and there's also a swimming pool and a café, 📷 very photogenic and you can watch the sunset! • ⚠️ Warm tips: 1⃣️ I basically don't go out from 12:00-16:00! It's hot and easy to get heatstroke, so make sure to do your sun protection! 2⃣️ Food in the city is cheaper, don't eat in scenic spots 3⃣️ If you don't have a car, you can choose to hire a car locally, they will take you to the places you want to go, wait for you to finish taking photos and then take you to the next place, which is more cost-effective than taking a taxi, and if the weather is good you can also choose to rent a short-distance electric scooter 🛵 4⃣️ July is the peak season, when going out for photos don't necessarily choose popular spots, when the weather is good, many beaches near the highways are beautiful
