My 1st Christmas in the capital 😍🥰
🕍 Attraction: St. Joseph's Cathedral
My first time visit this attraction in festive time. The weather is cool and the Xmas decoration is on going.
It's also interesting to have Lemon tea while looking at the cathedral and traffic on the street.
💫 Furthermore, the attraction surrounding is also known as the Old Quarter in Hanoi which is an intriguing neighbourhood, home to a mix of Vietnamese architecture, green spaces, ancient shops and fresh-as-it-gets street food.

🥰The Beautiful St.Joseph’s Cathedral🥰
🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings 🇻🇳
We visited the St.Joseph’s Cathedral on Nha Chung (Church) Street, it is the oldest Catholic church in Hanoi. It was very convenient to walk from the Old Quarter. This was one of the first structures built by the French colonial government in Indochina when it was first opened in December 1886 and completed in 1888. In spite of the long wars that destroyed major parts of Hanoi, St Joseph’s Cathedral is still in good condition. Today, it is a historical attraction in Hanoi which remains the image of the beauty of the old Hanoi. This Church makes an impression of the ancient beauty of Hanoi and it is definitely a must-visit sight!

Hanoi
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam,
It is also the cultural capital of Vietnam.
Temples and churches, ancient streets and theaters...
Strolling in Hanoi, discoveries everywhere.
The beauty of the fusion between the East and the West.
St. Joseph's Cathedral, the oldest Catholic church in Hanoi, has a Gothic architectural style that gives it a hint of the charm of Notre Dame de Paris. The exquisite stained glass inside the church is worth seeing, with each depicting a different biblical story. Hoan Kiem Lake, located in the center of Hanoi, is a great place for local residents to relax and play. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, the lakeside road turns into a huge open-air night market, where you can enjoy the lake view and taste roadside snacks. Water puppetry is a traditional stage play in Vietnam, with stories mostly drawn from folk life. Puppeteers need to stand underwater to manipulate the puppets, which is a great test of skill. The Thang Long Water Puppet Theater in Hanoi still offers the opportunity to enjoy such traditional drama.

The most familiar temple in the country is actually the first Chinese university in Hanoi

Whether it is the symmetrical dignified Wenmiao Gate, the Chinese character couplet on the carved stone pillar, or the carving on the flying dragonfly, it basically inherits the Chinese style, so that Chinese tourists come here, even if Never visited, there are always a few seemingly acquainted.
The Great Hall of the Temple of Literature is hovering with a Chinese character plaque with the four characters of "Wanshi Shibiao". It is marked with "Kangxi Yushu" and there is a Confucius table in the main hall. It can be seen that Vietnam was deeply influenced by China. The influence of Confucianism, Confucius's educational thoughts and doctrines were widely spread among the large and small bureaucrats and ordinary people in Vietnam at that time. Following Confucius, like the current pursuit of stars, it was a fashionable and prevailing event in Vietnam at that time.
Now, in Hanoi, almost all locals know the Temple of Literature. Every year, the Temple of Literature will hold a few days of ceremonies, as well as calligraphy, chess, poems, cockfighting, fighting birds and other cultural entertainment. Activities, the people are keen on the worship of the Confucian Temple. On that day, they took a group of children who came to the Temple of Confucius to observe. They were guided by the adults. The adults pointed at the entrance to the entrance of the scholars and thought about the words, perhaps encouraging the children. Let's study as well as the sages.
