Trekking through Mount Huangshan, I experienced its extraordinary beauty

"Having seen the beauty of Huangshan, I have no desire to visit other mountains." Taking advantage of the free entry on Wednesday, I took two friends on a hike across Mount Huangshan. After 13 hours, our one-day tour concluded, leaving us in awe of nature's masterful creation. My phone couldn't capture even a fraction of Huangshan's beauty. Huangshan did not disappoint me, and I would like to visit again! Travel time: Wednesdays in May (took advantage of the free entry on Wednesday) Transport: Huangshan West Station is close to both the North and West Gates. It costs 150 yuan by taxi from the South Gate Tangkou, or 30 yuan per person by bus (no more buses after 17:00). Our plan was to go from north to south, starting at the North Gate Gengcheng Town (40-50 yuan by taxi) Itinerary: Stayed in Gengcheng Town (many guesthouses and hotels, took a taxi at 6:00 to the North Gate for 50 yuan, buses start at 7:00) - Furong Ridge parking lot (North Gate ticket office, accessible by car) - Songgu An (a few minutes by scenic area bus) - Songgu An hiking starting point (departed at 6:30) - Cliff carvings (8:26) - Monkey Gazing at the Sea (8:40, Lion Peak was closed, couldn't go up) - Dawn Pavilion (8:57) - Begin-to-Believe Peak (9:30) - Black Tiger Pine (9:40) - White Goose Resort (10:05) - Bright Summit (10:30) - Group of Peaks - Flying Rock (11:15) - Paiyun Pavilion - West Sea Grand Canyon (walked the outer loop of the first ring and inner loop of the second ring at 11:40) - Paiyun Creek Station (12:50) - Sanxi Mouth - Step to Immortality Bridge - Reclining Rock Cloud Piercing (15:00, this section of the hike up the mountain has the best scenery, with a bridge that's perfect for photos) - Sea Heart Pavilion - Ao Fish Peak (planned to go to One-Line-Sky but took the wrong path ) - Lotus Peak (was closed) - Welcoming Guests Pine (17:17) - Celestial Capital Peak (17:30 was closed) - Halfway Temple - Ciguang Pavilion (ended at 19:00, scenic area bus to Tangkou Town)
