Quite village of Pilok

Have you ever heard of the Thai village of Pilok before? I haven't, despite the fact that I'm traveling often around. I only found out about Pilok when a friend from Kanchanaburi suggested it when I ran out of things to do in Sangklaburi, and I'm pleased I did! Pilok (Ban I-tong) is a little old mining community buried away in the Tenasserim Hills' rolling hills and mountains, which serve as a natural boundary between Thailand and Myanmar. Pilok has experienced a spike in local tourism since then, owing to its proximity to nature, the milder weather brought on by the high elevation, and the laid-back atmosphere fostered by the locals throughout the years. #easylife#seafoodfeast#summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer
