Hidden beside the Guandu Ancient Town is the Burning Lamp Temple

There is an ancient temple next to the Guandu Ancient Town in Kunming—the Burning Lamp Temple. The exact time of the temple's construction is unknown, but according to historical records, the central hall was destroyed at the end of the Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt in the fifth year of the Republic of China. The existing buildings consist of two courtyards, including the front and rear halls, as well as side rooms, facing west to east, covering an area of 1,820 square meters. The front hall and the wings have a hard mountain-style roof, while the rear hall has a single-eave hipped roof, with both the width and depth spanning three bays. The stone square pillars and bases in the central bay of the rear hall, as well as the lion sculptures, are unique and exquisitely carved, possessing certain historical and artistic value.
