The Yunnan University Science Museum was funded by Mr. Xiong Delong, President of the Bear Group in California, USA, with joint investment from Yunnan Province and Yunnan University. Located on the main campus of Yunnan University, the Science Museum corresponds to the Yunnan University Library (Yifu Building). The foundation was laid on February 5, 1994, and it was completed at the end of 1995. It is a comprehensive and intelligent science building integrating academic exchange, scientific and technological research, scientific achievements exhibition, computer network consulting, and teacher computing.
