When visiting Kiyomizu Temple, one must try the water from Otowa Waterfall

Kiyomizu Temple is the oldest temple in Kyoto, having been burned down and rebuilt several times. The temple's main hall features a stage that juts out over the hillside, known as the Kiyomizu Stage, which is a national treasure of Japan.
