Finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door - Guizhou's Xiaoqikong! Took the lazy route from west to east without looking back in half a day

🏞️ Left Nanning at 8:30 without traffic jams, arrived near the west gate of the scenic area at 12:30 for lunch, entered the park at 14:00, and got on the bus back to the west gate at 17:00, returning to the east gate around 17:30. 💰 Remember to book tickets in advance, there are many different time slots, you can get a refund if you don't enter the park, the 10 yuan insurance fee is optional, and the ticket price is 100 yuan plus 40 yuan for parking, which costs about 16 yuan for around 4 hours. 🚶 Route 💡 The most beautiful parts of Xiaoqikong are the Wolong Pool and the iconic ancient bridge, but the Wolong Pool is near the west gate, while the ancient bridge and the large Xiaoqikong are near the east gate. 🧐 Since we only had half a day, we could only take the main road and had to skip the side attractions such as: the 50 yuan boat ride at Mandarin Duck Lake & the 8 yuan Tianzhong Cave rear cave, the water forest, and the large Xiaoqikong. 🚶 West gate route: West Gate Station ➡️ Wolong Pool ➡️ Cuihu Station ➡️ Ancient Bridge Station ➡️ West Gate Station 🚶 East gate: First look at the ancient bridge, then go directly to the Wolong Pool at the west gate, then continue along the road, giving up the attractions mentioned above, and finally exit from the east gate. 📝 Indeed, walking from the west gate to the east gate downhill is effortless, whereas the opposite is uphill. The ticket allows multiple entries over several days, so you can leisurely enjoy everything in one day, or see all the core sights in half a day, especially since there were not many people that day and basically no queues. 🌬️ Overall, the scenic area is only truly stunning at Wolong Pool, but it would be very fun to bring children in the summer, as there are many places to wade and play with water guns, and it's very cool, making it a paradise for kids!
