This trip to Macau focused on exploring niche attractions. I took two or three hours to visit Coloane, and it was such a pleasant surprise and totally worth it! Here, there's no casino hustle and bustle, only interesting seas and colorful small houses, restoring the rustic charm of Macau's countryside life. - Lord Stow's Bakery Egg Tarts: Coloane is the origin of Lord Stow's Bakery. After getting off the bus at Coloane Town Center station, you can see the shop. You can buy egg tarts directly at the cashier counter at the entrance. Freshly baked flaky crust paired with a smooth, tender filling, not too sweet and not greasy, one bite is incredibly satisfying. - Coloane Pier Noodle House: A famous eatery in Coloane. The branch is next to Lord Stow's Bakery. It's a spacious two-story building. The shark fin noodles are a must-try and very unique, with large pieces of shark fin and a very fresh soup. - Rua de Cinco de Outubro: A seaside road where the main characteristic attractions of Coloane Town Center are concentrated. Along the way, there are many goose-yellow and mint-colored buildings, and every corner is great for photos. On a sunny day, the scenery is bright and healing. -Chapel of St. Francis Xavier: A large church with alternating goose-yellow and blue colors, featuring a unique classical architectural style and tranquil atmosphere. -Coloane Library: Next to the Chapel of St. Francis Xavier, with a goose-yellow and spring-green color scheme, very photogenic. -Colorful Painted Walls: Walking south along the road, you'll see colorful painted walls, each one rich and interesting. -Side Alleys: You can also take a leisurely stroll through the side alleys along the road and discover unexpected beautiful corners.
