The butler service at Sun Island Maldives is amazing!

On the first day of arriving at Villa Park Sun Island, I’m afraid I might forget some details in a couple of days, so I’m recording and sharing them with everyone: ✈️ Getting to the island: We stayed one night at the transit hotel H78 in Malé, which included airport transfers. From the pickup guy to the check-in staff, everyone was super nice and thoughtful! The resort sends an email to the transit hotel the night before to coordinate the island transfer time and the domestic flight, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were scheduled for a 7:00 AM domestic flight, and the H78 staff thoughtfully packed breakfast for us at around 4 AM (20 minutes by domestic flight + 5 minutes by speedboat, we arrived just after 8 AM, and the resort also arranged breakfast for us—eating non-stop haha). ‼️❤️ The resort host Nizam, a bald uncle, is incredibly kind! He proactively upgraded us to two pool beach villas, helped us arrange spa, sea trips, and rowing... Since we left the island late, the complimentary meal we ordered was arranged for noon on the day we left—this saved us a lunch meal (because we arrived early, the buffet was available until the breakfast on the day of departure). He added me on WeChat and wrote down every detail, such a thoughtful uncle! ❤️ Food: So far, we’ve only had breakfast and lunch at the main restaurant, buffet style with many options. The chicken wings at breakfast are super delicious, one bite each~ Contrary to online reviews saying the food isn’t good, I was worried my parents wouldn’t like it, but they kept eating and praising it. 🥤 Lite AI includes three meals + unlimited drinks at the bar, and you can also order a la carte drinks during meals, all included, so you can eat and drink without worrying about your wallet~ ❤️ Activities: We only swam simply on the beach in front of the pool villa (I was just taking care of the kids, so didn’t play much). After lunch, we walked around the water villa area, but the beach villa side felt livelier. It was too sunny, so we came back to take a nap. p.s. This is just my first impression after arriving on the island. I haven’t experienced the later activities or snorkeling yet. I just wanted to write an article to praise the hotel and resort service (mainly to thank the butler Nizam. If you plan to go to Sun Island, I hope you meet this great butler~) P.s. There are many mosquitoes on the island; the shop sells mosquito spray for $5 per bottle.
