🇰🇷 Observation Deck on Yeongsil Trail @ Hallasan

Hallasan is the highest mountain in South Korea, located on Jeju Island. There are a few stunning hiking trails to explore this beautiful volcanic mountain. We chose Yeongsil Trail which is of moderate difficulty level and does not require a permit. The trail leads hikers through lush forests and offers spectacular views of the island and beyond. However it does not lead to the summit and also the crater lake. We passed by an observation deck located at Witsejogeunoreum before reaching Witse Oreum about 3 km into the hike.
