🇰🇷 A Walk along Seoul City Wall from Dongdaemun to Naksan Park

#citywalk If you enjoy city walking like me, you should not miss Seoul City Wall Trail when you're in Seoul. The Fortress Wall of Seoul, also known as Hanyangdoseong, was built in 14th century during the Joseon period to safeguard the boundaries of the capital city. Hanyangdoseong has four major and four small gates which are important historical landmarks in Korea. I started my walk from Dongdaemun subway station exit 1, from which I could see the Heunginjimun Gate on the opposite side of the road. Then it was a steep hike from Heunginjimun Park along the city wall, passing by Ihwa Mural Village before reaching Naksan Park. Naksan Park offers panoramic views of downtown Seoul especially during sunset and evening.
