Shanghai's Century-Old Building｜Who hasn't heard of Shanghai's "Little White House"?

Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum is known as the "Shanghai Little White House." This white Western-style building, built in 1905, was originally the residence of the French Concession Public Board directors. Its pure white color, elegant staircase, and Renaissance architectural style make it very attractive in appearance and a great spot for photos and check-ins. The museum collects and displays top arts and crafts treasures from Shanghai and China, focusing on the "Three Carvings and One Embroidery": Ivory Carving: Delicate and detailed ivory carvings Jade Carving: Exquisite Shanghai-style jade carvings Wood Carving: Including boxwood carvings Gu Embroidery: A Shanghai-specific embroidery style originating from the Ming Dynasty, recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage Additionally, there are various handicrafts such as paper-cutting, bamboo carving, and lacquerware. Don't miss the large lawn and curved staircase in front of the building, which are the best spots to capture panoramic photos of the "Little White House."
