The only downside of Chenshan Botanical Garden is that it’s too big! But it’s really super addictive, a place with no ceiling. Coming here on autumn and winter weekends to stroll with the kids and visit the park is really comfortable, especially with the whole garden in autumn colors 🍁, beautiful to the heart. Enter from Gate 2, walk past the wooden cabin, and on the right is the pirate ship playground area, which has a big sandbox, climbing frames, and a long slide. You can spend the whole morning just here. After coming out, walk along the riverbank, and you often encounter black swans 🦢. If you bring steamed buns or bread, you can feed them, which kids love. There are picnic spots nearby, sitting down for lunch is very pleasant. It’s recommended to bring your own food at noon, but you can also order delivery inside the garden, which is very convenient. You can leisurely stay here for 6-7 hours without any problem. If you have good stamina, you can try the special forces route: walk from Gate 2 to the Deep Pit Garden, climb small hills, crawl through caves, then visit the three greenhouse gardens near Gate 3. Kids especially love the cactus greenhouse 🌵! By the way, there are sightseeing buses in the garden, with stops like bus stations, and the ticket price seems to be only 5 yuan.
